Tae's Diary*
16 June 2001
Dear Diary,
I'm not single anymore! My crush—no, *my boyfriend*—Jeon Jungkook asked me to be his boyfriend yesterday. Can you believe it? It still doesn't feel real. Today is already different. It's like I'm walking on air. my feet are not touching the ground.-------------
*Morning – 7:00 AM*
The sun was just beginning to spill through the curtains, casting soft golden light over the room. Jungkook stirred beside Tae, his arm draped over Tae's waist, keeping him close. He whispered into Tae's ear, his voice low and soft.
"Tae... wake up," Jungkook murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to his ear. Tae responded with a sleepy hum, snuggling deeper into Jungkook's arms.
"I need to go, Tae," Jungkook whispered again, tightening his embrace for a moment. "It's already morning. If I don't leave now, my parents will freak out."
Tae groaned, still half-asleep, refusing to open his eyes. "Why? Stay a little longer," he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.
Jungkook chuckled softly, pressing his lips to Tae's forehead. "We have school, babe. We need to get ready."
"Ugh, school..." Tae muttered, still too tired to care. But then—
*Knock knock*
"Tae!" Namjoon's voice echoed through the door. "Tae, wake up! You're going to be late for school."
Tae's eyes snapped open in a panic. "F*ck!! f*ck!! f*ck!!!" he whispered urgently. "Quick! Get in the bathroom!" Tae shoved Jungkook off the bed, sending him running toward the bathroom.
Just as Jungkook disappeared behind the door, Namjoon barged in, looking at Tae sitting up stiffly in bed. "What's wrong with you?" Namjoon asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing!" Tae responded quickly, trying to act normal. "I just woke up when you knocked."
Namjoon crossed his arms. "You woke up with my voice? That's... new."
"What's your problem, hyung? I'm awake now, okay? Let me get ready for school," Tae grumbled, hoping Namjoon wouldn't notice anything off.
Namjoon gave him a long, suspicious look but shrugged. "Geez, fine. Just get ready and don't be late."
Tae nodded eagerly as Namjoon left the room. As soon as the door closed, Tae collapsed back onto the bed with a sigh of relief.
"You can come out now," Tae called softly. Jungkook stepped out of the bathroom, laughing quietly. "That was close," he said, grinning.
Tae couldn't help but laugh along, his heart racing from the adrenaline. "Too close," he said, covering his face in embarrassment.
Jungkook walked over to the window, preparing to leave, but he paused, turning back to Tae with a playful glint in his eyes. "I guess I should go now."
"Yeah, you should," Tae agreed, though there was a hint of sadness in his voice. He didn't want Jungkook to leave.
Jungkook took a step toward the window but then stopped suddenly. "Wait... I forgot something..." Tae blinked in confusion. "What did you—"
Before Tae could finish his sentence, Jungkook was in front of him, closing the distance in one swift motion. His lips were on Tae's, soft and urgent, his hand cupping Tae's face gently. The kiss was sweet, yet filled with the same intensity from the night before. Tae's heart soared, his cheeks burning with a blush as he melted into the kiss.
When Jungkook finally pulled back, he smiled down at Tae, his eyes sparkling. "Bye," he whispered, his voice filled with affection.
Tae, flustered and red as a tomato, stammered, "Y-you should go now."
