Rachel's anger boiled over as she paced around the snooker club.

"Arggghhhh! I'm so pissed!! I'm his fiancée for crying out loud. Why won't he let me see my future grandfather-in-law"

Tanya, Racheal's best friend, placed a calming hand on her shoulder. "Just calm down okay? He's probably overwhelmed. It happened so fast, he might want to spend time with his grandfather alone."

Racheal's eyes flashed. "Spend time alone? But Noah was there with him. I even came to his favorite snooker club tonight, hoping to find him here."

Tanya's soothing tone eased Racheal's frustration. "Noah is his childhood friend, his best friend. It's different. You're his future wife; he's his confidant. Which man wants to show his vulnerable side to his future wife?"

Racheal's expression softened, considering Tanya's words. "You think so?"

"Certainly!" Tanya replied. "It would be too embarrassing for him if you saw him in that state. I'm sure he will reach out to you when everything is calm. He definitely must have seen how much you care about the king today"

Racheal's face lit up with a satisfying smile. "You are right, he must have been avoiding me because he didn't want me to see him in his vulnerable state. You really know how to make me feel better Tanya. I'll be right back, I need to use the restroom"

As Racheal excused herself to use the restroom, Tanya's bright smile faltered, replaced by a scowl. "So annoying," she muttered, chewing on the ice in her whiskey.

Juliana, the club manager, approached Tanya discreetly. "The prince came here with a woman." She whispered to her ears

Tanya's eyes widened in surprise. "Who is she? Where did she come from?"

Juliana hesitated. "I couldn't get much from her. Dennis was all over her. But from what I gathered, she's from a rich family, and Dennis seemed interested."

Tanya's voice rose, her annoyance evident. "Did you at least get a picture of her?"

Juliana handed Tanya a blurry photo from the CCTV. "I'm not sure if this will help."

Tanya's frustration grew. "I can't believe you, Juliana! You had one job!"

"Calm down; we're in this together, aren't we?" Juliana asked. "I brought this gig to the table, and I won't mess it up."

Tanya scoffed. "Looks like you already have. You may have brought the job, but I've done all the legwork. Dealing with Racheal is exhausting. She's a spoiled brat who gets under my skin. We need to get to Dennis through her ASAP and wrap this up. I don't know how much longer I can tolerate her."

Tanya's expression turned serious. "We can't let anyone jeopardize our plan, especially with my fake identity as Rooney Wales' daughter, thank God the real Tanya Wales is a billionaire kid who loves to remain private. If she discovers I've stolen her identity, we're doomed."

Just then, Juliana spotted Racheal exiting the restroom. "She's coming; I'll get back to you soon. By the way, don't forget the money we need"

Racheal approached Tanya, beaming. "Honestly, Tanya, you're the best. I was feeling terrible before coming here, and now I'm so much better. Thank God I called you."

Tanya smiled warmly. "You know I'm always here for you."

Racheal ordered a whiskey, mirroring Tanya's drink. As they clinked glasses, Tanya's phone beeped. She rolled her eyes after pretending to read a message.

"I can't believe my dad!" Tanya exclaimed.

Racheal's curiosity piqued. "What did he do?"

Tanya sighed. "He's trying to set me up with some guy he met at his golf club. I told him I'm not interested, but he won't listen. He blocked my credit cards after our argument today."
