Mrs. Richard's eyes warmed as Sarah approached. "Good day, Mrs. Richard," Sarah said, her voice laced with a mix of familiarity and caution. "It's been a while. I haven't heard from you since the last job." Sarah's gaze dropped, her words tinged with regret. "I'm sorry how the whole thing played out that day. I know I caused you a lot of inconveniences."
Mrs. Richard's expression softened, her voice infused with empathy. "No, Sarah, you are one of my finest workers. After what happened that day, I just felt really ashamed to call you again for any job." She paused, her eyes clouding over. "With everything that happened, I couldn't even defend you as your employer." Her words trailed off, laden with
"Trust me, I know these people, and I know what situation you would have been in if you tried defending me that day. You don't have to feel bad about it." Sarah's voice was steady, reassuring.
Mrs. Richard's face reflected gratitude. "I'm glad you see it that way, Sarah. Thank you."
Sarah's eyes sparkled with hope. "So...Erm...with that being said, is there any job available? I really could use some cash."
Mrs. Richard's lips pursed, her brow furrowing. "There really isn't anything much for now. The one I have doesn't have much pay since it's just a small family dinner. They just need waiters to serve them at the table."
Sarah's face lit up, undeterred. "It doesn't matter, Mrs. Richards. Any job at all is fine!"
Mrs. Richard smiled, a hint of warmth in her voice. "Okay then. I'll send you the address. It's this weekend. They're using one of their family houses in the suburbs, so you might want to prepare for that. It's quite far from here."
Sarah's voice overflowed with excitement. "No problem at all!"

Sarah's mum stood in the doorway, watching with concern as Sarah zipped up her small suitcase. "Are you sure you're not forgetting anything?" she asked, her brow furrowed.Sarah smiled reassuringly, her eyes shining with confidence. "No, mum, I packed everything I need already. The uniform, shoes, and toiletries are all packed." She said as she patted her bag.
Elizabeth's eyes misted as she coughed, her frail body sagging against the doorframe. "I feel really bad when I see you having to go through this struggle to help the family, Sarah. I'm really sorry," she said slowly, her voice laced with regret.
Sarah rushed to her mum's side, assisting her to the sofa. "You were doing all this alone for Stella and me since we were toddlers until you fell ill two years ago," she said softly, her voice filled with empathy. "I'm old enough to take care of this family now, mum. You don't have to feel bad or worry about anything, okay? The last thing we want now is your health deteriorating." She held her mum gently, in her arms.
Elizabeth's eyes locked onto Sarah's, her gaze searching. "Call me when you get there, okay? I just hope the network will be good at the suburbs."
Sarah chuckled, her shoulders relaxing. "It's a rich family, so I'm sure they've got it sorted. I'll call you when I get there." She glanced around the room, ensuring everything was in order. "I already made lunch, have Stella microwave it when she gets back from school."
Elizabeth nodded, her lips curling into a faint smile. "Hmmm."
Sarah grasped her bag, her movements decisive. "Bye, mum." She planted a gentle kiss on her mum's cheek before heading out the door.

Noah's hands trembled slightly as he fastened Dennis's cuff links. "Dennis, are you sure about this? There's no going back from this, you know that, right?" His voice was laced with concern.
