Beginning
Eons ago, when the universe was but a newborn spark in the vast expanse of creation, the Earth was ruled by the First Generation of primal gods: Gaia, Uranus, and Tartarus. Gaia, the Earth Mother, brought life to the world; Uranus, the Sky Father, stretched across the heavens, and Tartarus, the abyss, held the darkest depths of creation. Together, they shaped the early cosmos, their dominion absolute. Yet, even in their grandeur, there was conflict. Uranus, fearing the power of his own children, cast them into the bowels of the Earth, sealing them away in Tartarus. But Gaia, betrayed and enraged, vowed that this injustice would not go unpunished.
The Titans Dominion
In the shadow of this betrayal, the Titans were born, children of Gaia and Uranus, emerging to rule the Earth with a tyrannical hand. Their reign was one of dominion and cruelty, and the world groaned under their oppressive rule. The Titans saw themselves as invincible, kings of all creation. But the seeds of their downfall had already been sown. From the union of their blood came the Olympians, born to overthrow the violent reign of their predecessors. The Olympians, led by Zeus, were not merely gods—they were warriors, born of the earth and sky, destined to challenge the Titans in a battle that would change the cosmos forever.
Beginning of the Titan War
Thus began the Great Titanomachy, a war so catastrophic it tore the universe apart. For ten endless years, the heavens shattered with the clash of divine power, and the earth cracked under the weight of titanic battles. Mountains crumbled, oceans boiled, and stars flickered and died as the gods and Titans warred for control. Zeus, wielding the thunderbolt, struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, while Hades unleashed the horrors of the underworld, and Poseidon ravaged the land with his mighty trident. The Titans fought back with unyielding strength, led by their indomitable general, Cronus. But in the end, after a decade of bloodshed, the Titans fell. Bound in chains of celestial power, they were cast into Tartarus, sealed away in the darkness from which they were born.
The Gigantomachy
However, the victory of the Olympians was only the beginning. As the dust of battle settled, Gaia’s wrath boiled over. Furious at the destruction of her children, she sought vengeance. When the blood of Uranus, long since spilled by Cronus, mingled with the soil, it birthed a new terror—the Giants. Towering beings of raw power, they rose from the earth to challenge the gods. The Great Gigantomachy began, and this war was even more brutal than the last. The very ground quaked under their might, and the skies darkened with the fury of their battles. Gods and Giants alike fell, their bodies littering the battlefields as the earth wept beneath their weight.
For a time, it seemed as though neither side could claim victory. The gods, despite their strength, were pushed to their limits, unable to completely conquer the relentless Giants. But Zeus, ever the strategist, turned the tide of war by convincing two of the most powerful Giants to betray their kin. With their defection, the balance shifted, and at last, the Giants were driven back, their corpses swallowed by the earth from which they came. The gods stood victorious once more.
The Fate of Existence
With the Giants defeated, peace was restored to the Earth, and under the rule of the Olympians, the world flourished like never before. Fields blossomed, rivers ran clear, and the mortals looked to the gods with reverence. But this peace was an illusion. Unbeknownst to the gods, the weavers of destiny—the Sisters of Fate—had foreseen a darker future. In the threads of time, they saw a cataclysm that would surpass even the wars of gods and Titans. The Fates whispered a grim prophecy, warning the Olympians of the end that was to come.
