The heroes stood frozen, their faces etched with disbelief and shock. Before them was Enceladus, one of the ancient Giants who had clashed with the gods in the Gigantomachy-alive, here, in the ruins of Olympus. Muscles tensed, breaths sharp, they felt their fear laid bare before this monstrous figure.Theseus stepped forward, anger flashing in his eyes. "How... how are you alive, Enceladus? The gods killed you-all of you-in the Gigantomachy."
Enceladus grinned, his voice dripping with malice. "Did they, now?"
Iolaus clenched his fists, voice wavering between anger and disbelief. "Then what did you do to this place? To Olympus? Where are the gods?"
Enceladus laughed, the sound echoing through the empty halls. "I've done nothing Olympus didn't deserve. And as for the gods? They were weaker than you think. It took less than you imagine to bring them to their knees."
Ganymede, eyes narrowed, stepped up beside his comrades. "You won't get away with this. Whatever you've done, we'll stop it."
Enceladus sneered, his gaze cold and unyielding. "Bold words from mere mortals. But you'll learn soon enough... Olympus has fallen, and the Giants rise once more."
Iolaus shot back, anger sharp in his voice. "You're kidding-are there more of you crawling around that we don't know about?"
Enceladus chuckled, his grin twisted with malice. "Oh, it's just me for now. But the others? Scattered across the world, waiting, scheming... plotting fresh ways to wipe your kind from existence." His laughter echoed through the ruins, cold and unsettling.
The heroes exchanged tense looks, anger flaring in their eyes. Enceladus smirked at their reaction. "Ah, come now, can't we let bygones be bygones? Sure, our little 'fairy tale' happened ages ago-no reason to stir it up again, right?" His tone darkened, dripping with venom. "But that's not how this works. I'm reborn, stronger than ever, and I'm here to finish what we started."
Iolaus took a defiant step forward. "So, what are you then? Just a pawn? A puppet for revenge? Is that all this is?"
Enceladus's eyes narrowed, the humor fading from his face. "Pawn? Puppet? You foolish mortals waste your lives chasing power and bloodshed, all under the guise of free will. Is that what you call freedom?" His voice hardened, venomous. "Spare me your lecture. You're nothing but self-serving demigods, and today, you meet your end."
Iolaus laughed defiantly. "We'll see who meets their end, you overgrown pest."
Enceladus smiled, the malice in his eyes growing. "Oh, we will."
Iolaus launched himself forward, a blur of motion slicing through the air, his speed creating a shockwave that rattled the ruins. The sheer force of his movement caused cracks to spiderweb through the marble floor beneath his feet.
"IOLAUS!" Theseus and Ganymede roared in unison, their voices echoing through the shattered halls, but their cries couldn't reach him.
Enceladus, still seated on the crumbling pillar, merely grinned, his eyes gleaming with mockery. "Oh, this should be fun," he said, standing just as Iolaus closed the distance.
The instant Iolaus' fist made contact with Enceladus' raised arm, the resulting explosion was deafening. A blast of raw energy erupted, hurling debris in every direction. The ground quaked violently, and a cloud of dust engulfed them.
When the smoke cleared, Iolaus and Enceladus were locked in combat. Enceladus swung a colossal fist, but Iolaus dodged, countering with a rapid flurry of punches aimed at the giant's torso. Each blow sounded like thunder, shaking the remnants of Olympus.
"Impressive speed for a demigod," Enceladus taunted, blocking Iolaus' strikes with ease. "But is that all you've got?"
"Why don't you stand still, and I'll show you?" Iolaus shot back, his voice filled with determination.
Enceladus laughed, his deep voice reverberating like an avalanche. "Alright then, let's see what you're made of!" He raised his massive hand, summoning a surge of fiery energy that he hurled at Iolaus like a meteor.
Iolaus leaped into the air, dodging the attack, and retaliated by forming a sphere of divine energy in his palms. He hurled it at Enceladus, who swatted it away like an insect.
"You call that power?" Enceladus sneered, lunging forward. His immense form moved with terrifying speed, forcing Iolaus to narrowly avoid a crushing blow that shattered the ground where he had stood.
Iolaus gritted his teeth, summoning his divine strength. "Don't get cocky!" he shouted, unleashing a powerful uppercut that caught Enceladus under the chin, sending him stumbling back.
Enceladus spat out a laugh, wiping a trail of golden ichor from his mouth. "Not bad, little hero. But let's see if you can handle this!" He raised both arms, unleashing a massive shockwave that sent Iolaus flying into a crumbling column.
Theseus and Ganymede, watching from a distance, exchanged worried glances. "We have to help him!" Ganymede said, preparing to charge in.
But Theseus held him back, his eyes focused. "Not yet. He's not done."
Iolaus emerged from the rubble, battered but grinning. "That all you got, big guy? I was expecting more from one of Gaia's so-called champions!"
Enceladus' grin faltered, replaced by a scowl. "You dare mock me, demigod?"
"Oh, I don't just mock-I win," Iolaus retorted, charging forward again with renewed fury, his fists glowing with divine energy.
Their clash sent shockwaves through Olympus, the very air vibrating with the intensity of their battle. The heavens themselves seemed to tremble, as if bearing witness to a fight that could shape the fate of the world.
