                    CHRISTOPHER POV.

I had ran so fast that it was exhausting. Or in my head I was running. In a way I was spinning. I felt like I couldn't breathe almost, and when I was able to focus and put my mind on something, I was straight. But of course it sometimes feels like I'm running through a field. And with all the burn that just hits you, it feels hard as anything. And I'm here just moving my body trying to keep up with how fast I could go while running on this stupid treadmill that I actually can't stand.

I remember just getting my water bottle as sweat had somehow been on my face and I was breathing heavy and out of breath until I took a long gulp of my water, drowning myself in it as I drank from how thirsty I was.

I had stared at Logan who was sitting over by Ty and they were chitchatting with each other like they were in high school. Ty had a smile on his face to whatever Logan said to him. I had grabbed my water bottle with me and I had gone right over to them as I felt while Logan sat on the bench, and started lifting up a weight bar in his hand, bring it up to his shoulder and then back down. Over and over again.

I walked over to them way across the room to see what was being said to them. And what was being shared. But I approached them, and of course Ty was laughing while Logan was talking about something that didn't seem right.

"I mean, she sounds very superficial." I heard Ty say to Logan.

"Who sounds superficial?" I asked, bringing myself into the conversation.

"Victoria's sister." Logan replied, and he just shook his head at it.

"Which one? She has four sisters." I chuckled, and then took another sip from my bottle filled with water in it that was cold.

Logan chuckled.

"Valerie." Logan looked so annoyed to mention her name.

"Did she do something?" I asked.

"Yeah," Ty decided to chime in. "She literally is like trying to get Logan and Victoria married already."

Oh no, I think to myself.

"Is this good or bad?" I asked them, and Logan just scoffed.

"You're kidding me, right? Of course it's a good thing. I want to marry Victoria. But her parents are literally up my ass since I asked her father his permission to marry her. Since then... they been watching me every time they see me like I'm under observation or something." Logan explained, and this all sounds very personal and painful.

I had to stop and actually think about all of this. Being married, I sort of see things in a better way. But there's some things that are more lesser good. Perhaps, marriage takes a lot of things out of you. And with me being married to Emma, I feel so much happier and everyday I'm just learning things. And of course, I see Logan is probably half way there to marriage. Ty is already married, but Logan is half way to that step. He just needs to ask Victoria, when it's right.

"Yeah, I hate to admit this but... you're pretty screwed." Ty laughed, hitting Logan on the shoulder, and his sarcasm and bluntness wasn't helping Logan's situation.

"Logan, are you planning on popping the question... anytime soon?" I asked him, being so reasonable.

Logan breathed. "Yes, I don't know when exactly. I bought this ring last week. It's beautiful and it suits her, I know. But... I'm just not sure how to propose. I want it to be perfect for her. I mean, how did you do it, Christopher?"

I felt like I was left on a spotlight all of a sudden.

"I took Emma to New York in August. I proposed to her with my grandma's ring. It was after the bullshit of everything that went down in June." I told him, and Logan nodded, knowing what I meant. All of my friends know.
