Key Four: Malice:

Allen wandered into this city of malice and angles. Each step on the hard ground made his feet sore. The quiet made his stomach turn. Silence was never a good sign. There was so much steel around him. Something about this city felt so wrong. There was no light here. Some of the buildings looked like standing skeletons. Almost like the construction was abandoned one way or another. Looking at them made Allen shiver. It was like the time he had escaped the city.

The city.

That's right. He was trying to escape from the Tower and the City. And then get back to...

The angel stopped in his place.

Get back to where? Allen tried to dig around in his brain. He needed to be somewhere. The angel tightly shut his eyes.

"Why can't I remember?!"

Suddenly, Allen froze. What was that? The angel took a listen around him. It sounded quiet around him. But he caught something in the distance.

No...

Allen felt his heart pounding in his chest. He heard barking far away. One... Two... Three... The angel thought he was going to be sick.

"I can't stay here."

The angel turned and ran further into the city. He didn't know much about this place, but he knew what hell hounds sounded like. How did they get all the way out here? Allen didn't want to know. He needed to get out of here.

The problem was he didn't know where he was going. Nothing was behind him, but he could still hear those damned hounds. It wouldn't be long before they caught up. Allen looked around as he kept running. The buildings all looked the same. How big was this city? Where was everybody? Where was the exit?

Allen ran down the first alley he saw. He didn't care about how dark it was. The angel closed his eyes and pushed himself to run. He stopped once everything went quiet. Allen slowly pulled open his eyes.

There was nothing around him. Rather, it was so black that he couldn't see a thing. But it was quiet again. Allen knew that it wasn't going to last long. He needed to think. The angel took in a deep breath. He ran over the facts in his head.

He somehow ended up in this city that his brain didn't create. Someone called him out here. Where did it come from? Who made it? How was he going to get out of here? The angel didn't want to think about the answer. It was right in his face. The angel shook his head.

No. No. Don't think about that! Focus on getting out of here.

Allen began pacing as he took in breaths. He kept shouting one thing at himself in his brain.

Calm down! This is what she wants. Calm down and think!

Suddenly, the angel paused. How long have those glowing yellow eyes been staring at him?

"Hello...?"

"Hmm... I knew I smelt something yummy." The owner of the eyes walked out of the shadows. Allen backed up in shock. He was looking at a demonic wolf shadow creature grinning at him. It didn't take Allen to recognize that was Road in his psyche. His mind wouldn't let him acknowledge it just yet.

"Well hello there," she said. The shadowy demon paused and looked the soul up and down. Allen took a step back.

"What do we have here?" the shadowy creature asked. She walked closer, sniffing the air. The angel didn't dare to move. Road-Wolf giggled.

"You look so tasty," she said. The angel tried to look tough.

"Who are you?" he asked. The wolf demon giggled.
