He placed his gentle soft hands in mine
His palms were soft and warm
His grip was gentle yet firm.

"You'll get there. It just takes time and a little patience." Seto Kaiba

"Yeah... that's true. I guess it can happen patiently." Yuza

"It will. You've got this." Seto Kaiba

"You believe in me.." Yuza

"I do.. what's more important is what you're  capable of handling things for you.." Seto Kaiba

The smoothness of his touch sent a wave of comfort through me
I rested my head against his chest.
I could hear his steady heartbeat reassuring and capturing this quiet moment between us..
Like a flame igniting something deep inside me.
I felt safe cocooned in the stillness of the night
A peacefulness settling over me.
Just being here in this moment was all..
I wanted nothing more.

That is all I asked for..

*Being with you is nothing else even if I want more*

If I let go...
I was afraid I would fall
Into the emptiness and full of nothings
Into a void where nothing could fill in the space we could share
A black hole could be everything that could be felt distant and cold.
It would be empty like it was just plain
water

But... he held my hand tightly..
As if understanding the weight of my thoughts...
His grip a lifeline pulling me from that fear.
It was breathtaking in its simplicity—
This moment of being together knowing that for once I wasn't alone.

"Kaiba..." Yuza

I whispered
My voice muffled against his chest.

"Kaiba.. do you think.." Yuza

"I know," Seto Kaiba

He replied softly

"Just rest.. you'll need it" Seto Kaiba

His voice was lowering but very comforting.
I drifted closer to sleep
Feeling his fingers gently brushing strands of hair away from my face
Making space for me to rest more comfortably against him.

"Idiot...," Seto Kaiba

He murmured teasingly

"To what exactly.." Seto Kaiba

Through.. there was warmth beneath the words.

"You always manage to complicate things. Always making it seem like everything's about to fall apart... but somehow, you hold it in all together. You're impossible you know that.." Seto Kaiba

He paused
Smoothing my hair as his voice softened even more.

"But... you're everything.
You're more than I could have ever imagined" Seto Kaiba

He admitted
His words growing tender
A rare glimpse of vulnerability.

"You light up everything around you, Yuza. Like a battery that never runs out... you're the brightest thing in my life." Seto Kaiba

A soft smile touched my lips
Even sleep pulled at me.
His words tingle as though it was unspoken in the daylight
Where... it's enough to fill in the silence between us.

"Get some rest you're going to need it," Seto Kaiba

He said
In his now gentle commanded voice.

"Lay down and don't worry about anything else. I'll be here with you." Seto Kaiba

He gently touched my cheek
His fingers soft against my skin
Even though, I was still fast asleep.

"Don't do anything reckless... it doesn't suit you," Seto Kaiba

He murmured quietly almost to himself.

"You're only going to make things more complicated. I don't want to think about it. Just you... being here, where you are, that's enough." Seto Kaiba

His voice was low laced with a hint of worry he rarely showed.
His presence was steady grounding me even in my dreams.
Slowly, he leaned down and brushed his lips against my forehead
Tender and careful
As if trying not to wake me.
It was soft and sweet delicate, like..
The warmth of a fire on a cold night.

With a quiet sigh,
Kaiba turned off the lights
The room falling into peaceful darkness.
Yet, even in the silence
His presence lingered reassuring me that
I wasn't alone.
As he settled beside me,
I could feel the quiet strength he always carried
The weight of his unspoken promise.

And I knew—despite my own fears,
Despite all the doubts that always gnawed at me with him here
I wouldn't be able to fall.
I would be still hanging on

Not while he's holding me steady and for sure.

I can live with this so.. why not
