He closed his eyes for just a few minutes, the wave of emotions he was dreading came. He also had chest pains but he wasn't sure if it was due to Taylor's injury in the scene or the feelings he was feeling.
There was a moment of silence Cage and Taylor needed to recover from what they had seen, before thinking about what they had to do now.
"Thank you for warning us young master Cale, we will be eternally grateful. If you need anything in return anything that could help you even if it's nothing compared to what you gave us." Taylor finally spoke, obviously he meant every word.
Cale's eyes were still closed, he had to concentrate on Taylor's words, but it was incredibly difficult with all the emotions he was feeling and the tiredness.
"Young master Cale?" Taylor was getting a little worried at Cale's lack of response and his complexion turning whiter and whiter.
"You're suffering from side effects, aren't you?" Cage, who had slightly overcome the shock of what she had seen, asked Cale, becoming as worried as his friend when she could see him nodding.
"What are the effects?" She hoped maybe she could do something for him.
"Fatigue and feelings, too many feelings..." An exhausted Cale was more honest than a normal Cale.
"Our feelings in the scene?"
"Yes..." The voice was no more than a whisper, he was really going to fall asleep even if he didn't want to, he couldn't fight it. Cage and Taylor noticed it of course. They remained silent, they could only imagine what the young master must be feeling.
"We can continue this conversation later." Taylor suggested even though the answer was obvious.
"I don't think I can go alone ..."
"Can we warn someone for you?" Cage was ready to bring her back if she had to.
"They'll be worried, if I don't come back tonight." Cale started to ramble his mind was too tired to function properly now.
Cage approached him and helped him lie down on the couch. "Young master Cale, where are the people of Henituse?"
"Hmm, ... at an inn near...." The end was whispered but Cage nodded, she understood. She moved away from him to let him sleep and joined Taylor.
"It seems that for once, the words of the god of death are true." Taylor wore a hopeful smile for the first time in a long time.
"It seems, I'll be right back, it's not too far." Cage left the room, for the inn indicated by the young master.
And as she weighed it was not very far, she entered the inn to see knights and servants comfortably installed chatting. Given the time, they were surely relieved of their duties and could enjoy their evening.
No one seemed to notice the absence of the young master Cale. Well almost, she could see a table filled with anxious people who constantly looked at the door as if they were waiting for someone, she even recognized the young master Basen.
"Hello, young master." Cage greeted him, their gazes were on her and she shivered as she felt the gaze of the old man who seemed to be a butler.
"Hello Miss Cage, can I do something for you?" Basen asked intrigued by her presence, of course he knew who she was. She was the woman who accompanied Taylor Stan earlier and it was known that the two were always together.
"You seem to be waiting for someone, don't you?" They didn't say anything and let her continue. "I know where he is, and..." She couldn't say anything more, two intense gazes landed on her. They both had an expression that said to be careful with her next words if she wanted to continue living... scary...
"He's fine, well I think... we didn't kidnap him or anything, he came to talk to us !" She spoke hurriedly hoping they would believe her.
Basen could see that she was scared, even he could feel the dark gaze of swordsman and butler. "Everything is fine, we're not accusing you of anything. Why did you come?"
She explained to him vaguely what happened during their conversation without the part with the young master's power even if the three understood without her needing to specify.
Cage ended up leading them to their inn. She opened the door to their room and the three of them walked past it, heading towards the couch where the young master was still sleeping completely ignoring Talyor.
"We'll bring him back, he must be exhausted. After examining Cale, Ron doesn't notice any wounds.
Basen nodded at the butler's word. They were about to leave but Taylor stopped them.
"Please tell him that we are staying here for a few more days and as soon as he feels better we can resume our conversation."
"Fine but keep this a secret no one else must know about him." Taylor and Cage understood what young master Basen was talking about, he seemed to be aware of young master Cale's gift as well.
"We will young master Basen you can rest assured." Cage nodded at his friend's words, reassuring the other three who then left with Ron holding Cale in his arms.
As much as they would have liked to be discreet about their return, they couldn't with everyone in the inn. Knights and servants alike looked at the sleeping young man reproachfully.
"Certainly drunk..." That was everyone's thought. Ron, Choi Han, and Basen would have taken care of them if they had known.
