♤THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE♤

Wolfe showed his annoyance while grabbing his drink, his fingers tightening around the warm cup, and quickly left the café. Artemis let out a disappointed sigh, picked up his drink, and went after Wolfe to the parking lot.

"Wolfe, could you spare a moment to talk to me? I would appreciate it if you could listen to me." Artemis said, his voice filled with urgency. Wolfe paused, his hand hovering over the handle of the car door. Nonetheless, he decided to open the door.

After unlocking the door and settling into the car, he was enveloped by the familiar scent of leather and a hint of cologne. Before he could lock the car, he caught a quick movement out of the corner of his eye, Artemis opened the passenger door and slid into the seat next to him, his face displaying determination.

"Wolfe, please," He urged, his voice steady. "I need to discuss something important with you." Wolfe let out a heavy sigh and, albeit reluctantly, allowed Artemis to speak, but with a single condition. "You have three minutes. Please let me know if you wish to proceed, as I have other pressing issues to attend to." Artemis expressed his gratitude to Wolfe before speaking.

Wolfe was taken aback by Artemis's words. "I understand that our fathers have planned for you to wed Amethyst, but I urge you to reconsider your decision." Confusion washed over Wolfe as he processed Artemis's statement.

Why was Artemis advising him against marrying Amethyst? Furthermore, what led him to believe that Wolfe had already made a decision?

"I would like to clarify that there seems to be a misunderstanding. I have not yet reached a decision about marrying your sister, nor have I given any indication that I am leaning in that direction. It is important to me that you understand this clearly, and I kindly ask that you avoid making assumptions about my intentions." Artemis took a gentle breath before proceeding with the conversation about the proposed marriage between Wolfe and his sister.

"I must express my strong opposition to the plans for my sister Amethyst's arranged marriage. She has always dreamed of discovering true love and creating her own family. It deeply frustrates me that her future is being determined without regard for her wishes and happiness. I am convinced that she deserves the chance to marry someone who truly loves and respects her. I wholeheartedly support her in chasing her dreams and ensuring she attains the joy she rightfully deserves. Please know that my intentions are purely for her benefit, and I harbour no negative feelings toward you." Wolfe was taken aback by this revelation and voiced his disagreement, feeling quite distressed by the situation.

"I would be grateful if you could refrain from giving me advice on my personal matters, as they do not concern you." Artemis was quite irritated, to say the least.

"Kindly reject the proposal, and I assure you I will not bring it up again, as I feel she does not reciprocate your feelings. I would appreciate the chance to talk to my father about this, as I am worried about the possible effects this marriage could have on my sister's well-being." Wolfe sighed in frustration, resting his head on the steering wheel, gripping it tightly until his knuckles turned white.

"It seems most appropriate for you to leave at this time." Artemis immediately followed the instruction, stepping out of the vehicle and slamming the door shut to covey his dissatisfaction with the conversation he had with Wolfe

Wolfe started the engine and expertly manoeuvred the car out of the parking spot. After making a left turn, he set off towards the corporate office where he worked.

He felt an overwhelming urge to scream and express his frustrations, but he held back, concerned about how others would perceive him. The impending arranged marriage loomed over him, threatening to complicate his life further.
