THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE♤

In Edinburgh, Artemis found himself lounging in his childhood bedroom at his parents' home. Although he longed to return to his own space, they were determined for him to stay put, wanting to monitor his recovery and assist with changing his bandages twice daily until they received further instructions.

This arrangement also meant he wouldn't have to constantly reach out to someone for help. At first, he resisted, insisting he could manage on his own, but after his parents and sister persistently urged him, he finally yielded and agreed to remain with them.

FLASHBACK TO THE HOSPITAL♤

Mrs. Thatcher spotted the man who worked for her, along with his son, who had injured Artemis. The father abruptly approached her, disregarding the fact that she was his superior.

He demanded to know what had transpired at the Carnelian chateau. "Your son has provoked mine time and again, and yet you do nothing. What kind of mother are you?" Mrs. Thatcher felt a surge of indignation at his accusation.

"Artemis didn't provoke your son; your son is easily stirred up by anyone, just like you. How dare you question my parenting when you fail to discipline your child and instead blame others for his behaviour? You're a poor influence on him. Open your eyes and admit the truth, or does facing it make you feel less of a man? Are you too afraid to let go of your pride?" Enraged, the man stormed out of the hospital, his son following silently, showing no emotion as he glanced at Artemis and took in his condition.

"Let's put aside what happened here and focus on helping my son, alright?" She said to the physician, who simply nodded, mentally vowing never to cross Mrs. Thatcher.

He led Artemis to a private room for treatment, while KriangKrai trailed behind. Amethyst made her way to the reception desk to inquire about Wolfe's condition, with Mrs. Thatcher following closely.

"Hello, I'm looking for information on a patient named Wolfe Rodriguez. I'd like to check on him." She said. The receptionist entered his name into the system, and it quickly appeared on the screen.

"He's in room 784 on the 10th floor. Just take a left after you get off the elevator and keep walking; it's easy to find from there. Please try to keep the noise down, though—he's suffering from a severe migraine due to his head injury." Amethyst expressed her gratitude and headed toward the elevator, her mother by her side.

Once inside, Amethyst pressed the button and asked, "How long do you think he'll be here?"

"At least a few weeks, but don't worry; he'll be fine." Her mother reassured her. Amethyst managed a small smile as the doors closed and the elevator began to rise.

Despite her mother's comforting words, Amethyst couldn't shake her concern. "I can't believe both my brother and best friend got hurt on the day I returned from Switzerland; it's just so unfortunate." Mrs. Thatcher nodded in agreement.

"It is, darling, but they will bounce back, and all we can do is be there for them and stay patient, alright? Amethyst nodded in agreement as the elevator doors slid open. They stepped out and turned left, just as the receptionist had directed.
