♤THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE♤

Kiyoto couldn't help but grin when Arrietty asked him for that favour earlier, diving into the task without a moment's pause. After two and a half hours of focused effort, he finally wrapped it up and saved the file. "All done!" He exclaimed, rising from the couch to proudly display his work to Arrietty, who gave him an encouraging pat on the back. "When can I share it with everyone?" He enquired, to which Arrietty replied that he should wait until she completed her part of the plan.

"Well, I think it's time for me to return to the Thatcher residence." Arreitty said while Lilith looked puzzled at her sister. "You're not staying here?" She asked, and Arrietty shook her head. "No, I came here to accomplish two things, and I've done them both. Plus, I want to spend more time with my cousins since I missed out during my last visit." Picking up her phone, she dialled her private driver to arrange a pickup.

"Can I join you? It's been ages since I last saw our cousins and my niece. Have they changed much?" Arrietty nodded, sharing that both Artemis and Dion had grown their hair and dyed it.

Artemis had opted for a mocha brown while his twin brother chose a striking midnight black. They looked quite handsome, to say the least. She also mentioned that Amethyst had grown taller, going from 172 centimeters (about 5 foot 6) to 177 centimeters (around 5 foot 8), and Brynleigh had recently cut her hair to just above her shoulders and now sported contacts instead of glasses.

"What's the situation with Orpheus and Emerald?" Arrietty shrugged, feeling at a loss for words or actions. Orpheus had moved to another country years ago after getting married and hadn't been in touch with the family since. Meanwhile, Emerald was busy with her studies at a university in eastern Asia, leaving her little time to come home or even catch up over FaceTime.

After wrapping up her call with the private driver, Arreitty tucked her phone into the side pocket of her skirt and shot a sly glance at Kiyoto, a smirk playing on her lips. He caught her expression and raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "What's going on?" He asked, but her smirk only deepened, leaving him feeling a bit unsettled.

"Care to join us?" Lilith was taken aback by her sister's playful question directed at Kiyoto, and Arreitty quickly caught her eye, silently mouthing, "I'll explain later." Kiyoto's gaze faltered as a blush crept across his cheeks. "Sure." He replied, making an effort to keep his excitement in check.

"Fantastic!" Lilith found herself caught in the middle, utterly bewildered by the exchange that had just unfolded between her sister and Kiyoto.

An hour and fifty minutes later, the trio pulled up to the Thatcher residence. They eagerly hopped out of the car as it came to a stop in front of the grand metal gates. As soon as the gates opened, they climbed the steps to the porch.

Arrietty took the initiative to ring the doorbell, and it was Amethyst who greeted them at the door. "Welcome back, Arrietty!" She exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she noticed the two figures behind her. "COUSIN LILITH!" Amethyst shouted joyfully, rushing forward to embrace her cousin, whom she hadn't seen in years.

They embraced for a moment until Arrietty cleared her throat, prompting the two women to release each other and bow in a gesture of apology. Amethyst flashed another smile at Lilith before looking up at the man beside her.

"Hello, what's your name?" She asked politely. He introduced himself, and she reciprocated with her name. Although he had heard plenty about her from Dion, this was his first time seeing her in person, and he couldn't help but think how stunning Amethyst was. Yet, his heart was already taken by her brother.
