donghyuck walked in the amusement park sharp at six thirty pm.
he didn't have to look around since mark was standing there at the entrance itself, looking so good with a white shirt and black jeans and donned the sweetest smile ever.
he looked like the ideal boyfriend for anyone.
donghyuck felt his heart race once again. he had to remind himself multiple times that this wasn't any date and just a friendly hang out without any flirting.
"hi," mark said, taking donghyuck's look in, "you look really good"
"remember what you said mark. let me quote, 'two friends chilling without any romantic advances or sexual innuendos.' don't forget that," donghyuck shrugged because he didn't know how to react to the compliment from the alpha. he was sure however, that he was going to replay this at night and giggle all over it.
"friends compliment each other. get your head out of your delusional word," mark replied but in such a lighthearted tone that it was not believable and rather felt like he was being sarcastic.
donghyuck would not be surviving his plan to not stay the hell away from the alpha if this was how the latter was reacting already.
the amusement park buzzed with people in large gatherings. it was a sunday so donghyuck had anticipated a crowd but this was really too many people. before he could even walk, he felt another hand engulfing his own.
it was of course mark. his touch literally burnt through the omega's skin, leading his cheeks to flush with the brightest tint of red. donghyuck swore he never wanted to let go because of how comforting it was.
stop it, get a grip of yourself
he stared at mark and then pointed at their joined hands to which the alpha just shrugged, "there are so many people here. what if you get lost here?"
valid excuse.
as they navigated through the giant park with mark not letting go of donghyuck's hand the entire time, the latter felt butterflies in his stomach having a whole carnival.
"do you want to go on the roller coaster!?" donghyuck asked, pointing to his favourite ride.
mark smiled and nodded.
as they sat on the rollercoaster and the vehicle moved, increasing its speed and then rushing through loops and tunnels, donghyuck felt his adrenaline rush and he shouted on the top of his lungs.
he then felt mark hold his arm as he looked rather terrified than excited.
oh god, donghyuck was literally going to melt with his touch.
the rollercoaster ride took another five minutes, with mark clutching his arm the entire time. as they both got of it, he noticed that mark was now pressing his palm against his forehead with one hand and using the other to frantically search for a water bottle in his bag.
