monday was amazing. it suddenly felt like life was getting really better for donghyuck.
he had spent the entire sunday night texting mark after the latter had dropped him off at his house after an amazing day spent at the amusement park.
not to forget the fact they kissed.
donghyuck has absolutely lost count of the amount of times he replayed the scene in his head. recalling every single moment that led up to it and every moment that happened after it.
he couldn't express how badly he wanted to be kissed again. the first time it was washed away in adrenaline and shock. this time he wanted to savour the moment slowly.
he and mark had chatted till four am that night. it didn't really affect him that he almost slept in class the next day and according to mark, he too was going through the same.
they shared everything. from what they thought were the pros and cons of having elder brothers to their childhood experiences — they told each other everything.
mr lee had asked donghyuck in the class, "why are you looking so sleepy donghyuck? didn't get much sleep last night?"
the words, "yeah sir, your son kept me up all night" were alright on his tongue but he just smiled and shrugged it off.
a tinge of guilt engulfed him but he forgot about it the minute mark texted him again.
mark had sent him some of the funniest reels and memes which he had laughed to all day and even forwarded them to his friends.
this was feeling too cozy and intimate.
mark had texted him good morning and he had replied. he got updates of everything that was going on in mark's day. he saw the coffee and sandwich mark had for breakfast. he recieved a picture of a car stuck in traffic, suggesting his whereabouts. he got a picture of mark's classroom that was captioned, 'boring class,' and he had sent back a similar picture.
mark also showed him what he was having for lunch. he showed him pictures of his friend group and then proceeded to explain how he met each one of them, their personalities and their importance in his life.
donghyuck had no idea you could learn so much about a person's life in one day. he learned that all of mark's previous relationships ended because of incompatible personalities' problems. he told him how his one and only relationship till now didn't work out because of long distance.
they texted so much and then only stopped when mark gave him a call on monday at midnight.
wrapped in his blankets with the dim moon shining through the curtains in his rooms, donghyuck felt chills down his spine as he picked up the call. it was just so intimate to call your crush at this hour.
