donghyuck was irritated
it had been a week since his extra classes began, and he hadn't seen mark again. he had hoped every day that mr lee would get stuck in some work ask mark to teach him, but it seemed like the teacher had all the time in his hands.
and so donghyuck did what he knew the best.

it was a habit he had developed a few years back, when he saw taeyong write in a diary multiple times that he would become the valedictorian for his school. it was an extremely hard thing for taeyong to achieve since he too was an omega, and the position was reserved for alphas.
and taeyong had simply affirmed the statement thousands of times in that diary, along with working hard, and had achieved it.
donghyuck always felt his parents must be embarrassed of having two omega kids but that day as taeyong stood on the stage, he saw pride shine through their eyes so brightly, he had decided he would work just as hard.
and along with working hard, manifest his luck too.
he manifested many things, some got fulfilled — getting into a great university, having good friends, clear skin, while some were left incomplete.
he grabbed the blue journal lying in his desk. it had been lying untouched for the past two months, ever since he got into his dream university.
donghyuck felt nervous as he picked up the fountain pen. he had silly crushes on many guys in the past and wrote about them in the journal on all those occasions, but none of them had come to be true.
and he knew he should take the sign and stop wasting his time. heck, he shouldn't even be doing this since mark is mr lee's son and it would be so inappropriate. but he couldn't help himself smile as he wrote, i hope mr lee's son (mark) and i become friends in near future.

when mr lee opened the door for donghyuck, he was dressed in a fine suit.
"oh mr lee, are you going somewhere?" the student asked, suddenly being scared if he had missed any message from the professor about no class being held today.
"donghyuck, i am sorry i couldn't inform you beforehand. the university board kept a sudden meeting due to some unforeseen circumstances and i have to report there as the head of biochemistry department," mr lee told him as he welcomed him inside, "however, don't worry. i have already told my son what you need to be taught, and i am sure he can manage for a day."
donghyuck felt his cheeks flare up, "oh, that's completely fine sir. is it jaehyun hyung or mark hyung?"
he really hoped it was the latter, and he hadn't even seen jaehyun once.
mr lee let out a chuckle, "of course it's mark. jaehyun is literally a financial accountancy major. like his mother, he doesn't know anything about the beauty of chemistry."
