Unknown POV (third person pov)

The screens flickered in the dimly lit room, the soft hum of hidden cameras filling the silence. He sat back in his chair, fingers drumming methodically against the edge of his desk, eyes glued to the monitors. Each screen displayed a different angle of their lives—Kai and Nina. Blissfully unaware. Perfectly in his grasp.

the camera feeds showed everything: their bedroom, the hallway, the kitchen where they had just shared breakfast, laughing like they didn't have a care in the world. His lips curled into a sneer as he watched them. So careless. So trusting of the illusion of safety around them.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" he muttered to himself, his voice a low rasp. His eyes trailed over Nina as she moved through the room, her body fluid, her expressions innocent. He zoomed in, narrowing his gaze on the subtle details—her smile, the way her hair fell over her shoulders, the way Kai looked at her like she was his entire world.Pathetic.

His hand hovered over a stack of photographs, each one more vile than the last. He picked one up—a still image of Nina, asleep in her bed, completely vulnerable. Her lips parted softly, her arm draped over the pillow, the sheet barely covering her body. He held the photo close to his face, breathing in deeply, savoring the twisted sense of power it gave him.

"She doesn't even know," he whispered, a sick grin spreading across his face. "Not a clue that I've been watching her every move. That I could take her anytime I want."

The room was lined with monitors, each one a window into their lives, into every private moment they thought they had. From the bathroom where Nina cried herself to sleep, to the kitchen where Kai promised to keep her safe, it was all a lie. Every inch of their house was under his control.

"You think you're untouchable, Kai," he muttered, his tone laced with venom as his fingers hovered over the screen that showed Kai walking through the hallway. "But I've got you. I've always had you."

The plan had been in motion for months, meticulously crafted, every detail calculated. It wasn't just about Nina—it never was. She was merely a pawn, a tool to get to Kai. To break him, to destroy him. And then? Then, he would finish him once and for all.

He turned his attention to another screen, one that showed the outside of the house—the security cameras he'd long since hacked into, allowing him full control over what Kai saw and didn't see. For all his power, for all his money, Kai was still blind. Still vulnerable. Just like anyone else.

"You think you can protect her? You think you can keep her safe from me?" His voice dripped with malice as he leaned closer to the screen, his breath fogging up the glass as his eyes followed Kai's movements. "You're wrong, Kai. I'll take her from you. Piece by piece. She'll belong to me. And when I'm done with her..."

He didn't finish the thought, but the sick satisfaction in his eyes spoke volumes. He reached for his phone, scrolling through a series of messages. Each one was a part of the larger puzzle, contacts with people who hated Kai just as much as he did. Old enemies, betrayed allies—all with one common goal: to see Kai fall. To watch him lose everything he cared about. Starting with her.

He tapped a message, reading it over again, a twisted smile forming on his lips as he thought about the final stage of his plan. The pieces were all falling into place, and soon, it would be time to strike.

"She's your weakness, Kai," he whispered, his voice almost reverent. "You can pretend to be the cold, ruthless mafia king all you want. But Nina? She makes you soft. She makes you weak. And I'll exploit that weakness until there's nothing left of you."

He stood up, stretching his arms as he walked toward a wall lined with photographs—images of Kai, of Nina, of the life they thought they had built together. He reached up, tracing his fingers over a picture of Kai holding Nina close, his hand on the small of her back, protectively. His face twisted in disgust as he ripped the photograph from the wall, tearing it in half.

"Kai," he muttered, dropping the pieces of the photo to the ground, "you'll wish you'd never crossed me."

He moved back to the desk, flicking through more of the photos he'd taken of Nina over the past few weeks. Each one more intrusive than the last. Pictures of her getting dressed, of her in the shower, unaware that eyes were always on her. Always watching.

"You think you're safe in his arms," he said, his voice low, mocking. "But you're not. No one is safe from me."

He glanced over at one of the screens, watching as Kai walked into the room where Nina sat, the two of them exchanging quiet words. Kai kissed her gently on the forehead, and the sight made his stomach churn with rage.

"I'll take her away from you," he hissed, his hand curling into a fist. "And when I do, I'll make sure it's the last thing you ever feel."

His fingers danced over the keyboard, pulling up more footage from hidden cameras—cameras installed in every corner of the house, every private space. He had access to everything: their secrets, their fears, their moments of vulnerability.

No place was safe.

"No one can protect you now, Nina," he whispered, his voice cold, cruel. "You're already mine. And soon, Kai will know what it feels like to lose everything."

He leaned back in his chair, a sense of satisfaction washing over him as he watched the couple on the screen. They were living on borrowed time, and he would be the one to pull the strings.

"Enjoy your time together," he muttered, a sick smile stretching across his face. "Because soon, Kai will burn. And you, Nina... you'll be nothing but a shattered memory."

The clock on the wall ticked loudly, a reminder that the countdown had already begun. Soon, very soon, the final act would begin. And when it did, there would be no escaping the devastation he had planned. For Kai. For Nina. For them all.

"I'll see you soon," he whispered, his voice echoing through the dark, empty room.
