Jay POV
everyone is asleep. I can escape. This is my moment.
I carefully walk through the halls of this stupid monastery. I pass the kitchen, but stop in my tracks when I hear a voice
"Why are you up so late?" That girl with pink hair asked me
"Um.. I should be asking you the same thing." I said
She glanced down.
"I couldn't sleep. There's a lot on my mind."
Oh. Yeah.. she has seemed upset the whole time I've been here.
"Umm.. yeah.. that's why I'm awake, too.." I lied
"You're trying to escape, aren't you?" She asked bluntly
I groaned and nodded
"Yeah, well.. i can wake everyone up if I wanted to. So maybe we could, I dunno, talk?" She shrugged
"I guess so.. erm, what was your name again?" I ask
She sighed. "Sora. Is this how Jordana feels like?"
I tilt my head. "Who's Jordana?"
"I- she was literally on your team?" She said
Ohhh! That imperium girl.
"Oh. Right. Whatever. What was it keeping you awake anyway?"
"My friend, arin. I just hope he's alright.. I don't see why he left us..." sora said
"Because your all super annoying maybe?" I said
She rolled her eyes "not helping."
"That's the point." I smirked
She side eyed me "Why am I talking to you about this again?"
"Cuz I'm the only one awake."
She sighed "Whatever. I'm going back to bed and see if I can sleep. You should do the same."
I sigh and nod
I went back to my room. Sorta upset the escape attempt failed.
But a thought came into my mind, a thought I wanted to push back as far way as possible.
'What if.. it's not that bad here?'
