It was a new day

It was a new day.

A new day to enter jail, also known as school.

Haneul gave her best to push back all the negative thoughts she was forced to have on the day before.

After all she'd need to be in school if she actually wanted to study astrology one day.
It was her dream and something she loved being in touch with in her free time.

She'd call it her passion.

The brown haired girl had thought out well this time as she already wore her headphones the second she entered the school in advance.

She wouldn't say she did that to ignore others as this wasn't even possible with the low amount of friends who were available.

The sun showed up in the morning which made her smile a tiny brighter this time.
She didn't like thinking about the bad things happened too long so she'd rather focus on her future instead of being stuck in the past.

Haneul sat down on her seat and took out a book out of her bag.
Today was a chilly day. She had six lessons and two of those were sports which meant nothing.

She'd probably only have to pay attention in the first four lessons and could lean back during sports.

She and Byeol exchanged a smile once the girl entered the classroom as well before sitting down on her seat between her so called friends, also known as the girls who couldn't stand Haneul at all.

More and more students then entered the classroom until it was nearly full right before the teacher entered the room, followed by someone else but the girl was too focused on her book to pay attention anyways.

Everyone stood up except for Haneul who still wore her headphones.

It only took the teacher some seconds until he noticed the girl in the last row and he walked over to the girl with large steps.

He stopped right in front of her table and caused her to wince the second she recognized the male's brown leather shoes.

Haneul immediately jumped up, her headphones automatically sinking down from her ears to her shoulders.

"Mrs. Jang"

The teacher said with his deep voice which sounded even more severe than it was usually. Even though the girl didn't have much lessons with him yet due to her absence, this also wasn't the thing she looked forward to the most.

"I'm so sorry, this won't happen again"
She immediately responded, her look seeming even more apologetic this time.

The teacher shortly nodded and then returned to the front again. The girl still didn't even notice the other presence in the front.

"Have a good morning class"

The teacher firstly said, the students responding in union.

"As you can see I brought someone here today. He's here to get in touch with the daily school day, the lessons and with being a teacher which is why he will take over a few lessons as a teacher in a while"
Mr. Kang said with his deep voice, nodding towards the boy next to him as he finished his statement.

The boy nodded with his head in response. Haneul was just packing out her stuff, not noticing who actually stood there in front of her nose.

"Hello, my name is Jay Park. I'm looking forward to get to know you all very soon and to be able to get in touch with something I'm hoping to be able to do in the future"

Haneul raised her head immediately as she heard his familiar voice. Her eyes fell onto the person in the front and her heart stopping beating for a second as she actually recognized Jay.

She frowned and tilted her head.

Yeah, she knew that Jay would attend in a school for a few weeks the next time but did he mention that it was her school he attended? Well he probably didn't even know that it was her school but how big was actually the chance of him getting in exactly her class?

She liked him, no question.

It would just make everything harder for the girl. Harder to hide it from him, her biggest secret.

"You can sit down in the last row, next to Mrs. Jang. Pay attention she won't get lost in her thoughts"
The teacher said with a breeze of irony.

Haneul raised her brows when Jay nodded and searched the seat to her right as she didn't wonder the second table there in the morning.

Someone must have had moved it there before.

Jay's expression stayed as before when he sat down next to Haneul who was experiencing more than just a few butterflies flying around in her stomach.

He didn't know how he made her feel just as she didn't how how she made him feel.

"I didn't know you meant my school"
The girl managed to bring over her lips without looking at the boy meanwhile.

He shrugged.

"I wasn't sure in which class you were so I rather stayed silent instead of scaring you with that"
He responded in a whisper tone since the teacher had just begun to teach the class again.

Haneul now turned her head towards Jay and narrowed her eyes, tilting her head meanwhile.

"Jay, why would I be scared of you joining my class? It's not that I feel uncomfortable next to you"
She replied then, obviously not having thought about her words much before she spoke.

She immediately twitched her eyes and turned her head to the front where her teacher drew something on the blackboard with the white chalk.

Jay couldn't help but giggle in response.

"I hope it won't be too weird between us while I'm here"
The boy added then, causing Haneul to raise her brows in amusement.

But then her lips' corners slowly cursed into a smile and she looked at Jay again.

"Let's have a good time here, teacher"
She giggled then before eventually turning her head back to the front again.

Jay kept looking at the beautiful girl for a bit longer until he also directed his attention to the front and listened to the teacher.

He needed to write down what he said so that he could lead the lessons he'd have to teach even better.

In fact he indeed didn't know which class he would be in until this morning when he was told about it.

The moment he recognized her beautiful face in the last row when he entered the class. With her headphones on and her eyes fixed on the pages.

It was just like when he first saw her in the Café.

They only knew each other for such a short time but indeed... did he like her?

Only a short while later when the bell signalized the first lunch break and he entered the huge cafeteria, the first thing he intentionally did without thinking much, was...

searching for her eyes which were filled with the color of his favorite chocolate.
