Up on the desolate surface of Cybertron, energon now flows freely throughout the planet once again. While Iacon is being rebuilt underneath the surface, a large group of Cybertronians are left isolated together. A loud, firm voice echoed throughout the nearby area.

"Sentinel Prime is no more; his reign of power is no more." The voice said victoriously, before changing to one of hatred. "But a new problem arises. A new Prime has come into the world, and we must end it!"

Megatron, once known as the miner D-16, stood amongst the group. His cannon raised up in determination.

"We must unite together as one to end the new enemy!" Megatron shouted at the large group. He lifted up an iron, red hot at the end, before putting it against his chest, leaving a mark there.

Once Megatron had done just that, everyone else had followed, leaving one or two of the marks on themselves. Everyone was following their leader; all but one it seems. Standing at the edge of the crowd, a blue, black, and gray femme stood as she watched the others brand themselves. Shaking her helm she looked up at her friend, her new leader. Slowly, she made her way over to him and stood next to him.

     "D, I don't-" She began.

"I am Megatron now." Megatron interrupted, looking at the femme with cold, red optics. "You will do well to remember that from now on, Silverflow."

"Fine, Megatron." She snapped, glaring back at him. "Is this really necessary? Orion is our friend. He'd never do this if he was in our place."

"Was our friend." Megatron corrected. "Prime betrayed us, our friendship, and our loyalty."

The large, gray mech turned to face Silverflow properly, holding onto the branding iron. "If you will not stand with us, you will be against us. What will be your choice?"

Silverflow hesitated for a moment, staring at the white end of the iron before snatching it from the mech. She closed her optics and pressed it against her shoulder pad, biting back a cry of pain. After a few moments, she removed it and threw it onto the ground glaring at Megatron.

"My designation isn't Silverflow anymore." She said coldly. "It's Cascade."

Without a second thought, Cascade got down onto one knee and lowered her helm in a bow. Megatron watched with satisfaction as the rest of the Decepticons knelt down behind Cascade.

"Decepticons, arise as one!" Megatron bellowed, raising his cannon into the air. "Unite together, so that we may end the reign of the Primes once and for all!"

Chaos ensued as everyone stood up and cheered loudly, pumping their fists into the air. Cascade slowly stood up and watched the commotion happen around her, still feeling uneasy about everything. She didn't understand why this had to happen. As her mind raced through the recent events and memories, her hatred grew against Optimus and his followers. He says they could've rebuilt Iacon together, but everyone knew he'd be just as bad as Sentinel Prime. Clenching her servos into tight fists, she joined in with the cheering.

Megatron waited for it to quiet down a bit before speaking again. "As the leader of the Decepticon cause, I will need a chain of command."

The leader's blood red optics scanned the large group of bots that had chosen to follow him, watching as some either avoided his gaze or challenged it. After a few moments of silence, he spoke up again.

"Starscream will be my second in command, with Soundwave as my third in command." Megatron announced.

Cascade couldn't help but feel a little spark broken at the announcement. Afterall, she and Megatron were close before everything went to scrap, but she understood where he was coming from. It took her longer to join the cause with her whole spark than everyone else here. Cascade watched as the two mechs moved up to join Megatron at the front. She couldn't help but hope that somewhere inside Megatron, deep down, that D-16 was still there.

As soon as that thought entered her processor, other thoughts began to follow. Why choose Orion to become a Prime of all bots? Does this new war mean more terror for Cybertron, after everything we've gone through with Sentinel's reign?

Cascade didn't realize she had zoned out until another 'Con bumped into her, making her jump at the suddenness. She glared at the other 'Con slightly and moved away, growling in irritation. After a minute of being in the chaos gathering, she slipped away from the group and made her way to somewhere more peaceful. She needed a moment to gather her thoughts again, especially with everything still fresh on her processor. Walking over to a cliff edge, she sat down with a sigh and watched the setting sun silently. She watched the jagged cliffs around them 'transform' to different areas on the surface or shapes. She continued to watch the sunset as she heard a set of pedsteps walking over in her direction. Once she knew they were close enough, she quickly transformed her blaster out and tackled the bot, pinning them down and holding her gun at them before freezing.

"Megatron?! I-I'm so sorry." She said, quickly getting up and helping him back up before whacking the back of his helm. "You know to never sneak up on me when I have my back turned you glitch!"

The large mech rubbed the back of his helm with a slight glare. "I'll remember that from now on. What are you doing alone out here?"

"I needed some space to clear my processor." She explained before looking back at the nearly gone sun. "Is that a problem?"

"No, it's not. But I can guess who you're thinking about." Megatron said lowly, watching the femme closely. "He's no longer our friend. He betrayed us for the Matrix, to become another Sentinel Prime to cause nothing but pain and betrayal."

"Did you ever stop to think that he never wanted to hurt you? Primus, Megatron. We all promised to watch our backs while in the mines. Does that not matter to you anymore?" Cascade spat out, watching Megatron closely.

"Orion betrayed that promise. That was before he became Prime, and took any chances of a new Cybertron." Megatron said slowly. "But together as Decepticons, we will always have each other's backs."

Cascade nodded slowly and closed her optics. "Of course, Lord Megatron."

She heard the gray mech leave the area back to the rest of the group. Taking one last look at the disappearing sun, she followed after him back to the group, pushing away every last thought of the past and focusing on the future: the winning of the Decepticons on Iacon.

Guys if you haven't seen Transformers One already, I recommend going to see it ASAP! I've seen it twice and love it, and this is coming from someone who prefers Frank Welker and Peter Cullen as Megatron and Optimus. Definite 8.5-9/10 rating.

Anyways, thanks for reading and hopefully expect more updates from me! See ya next time!
