I'd like to thank CrystallizedFaith for helping me write this out! I couldn't have done this without her.

“Get the human!”

Ryan could barely let herself catch her breath as her feet hit the ground once more. The Vehicons, they had been chasing her for a full minute already. She hadn’t intended to be deep in the energon mines with the Autobots, but all bets were off as soon as Miko hopped through the ground bridge again. That girl seriously had a death wish, didn’t she?

Ryan dove behind a rock, allowing herself to take a moment's rest. She could not go on like this forever. Her lungs screamed for her to take a break from all this action. Then she frowned. No, she had to find Miko. They had gotten separated right before this whole mess started. It was fairly dark, which made matters worse. But when Ryan could get her hands on that girl—

“Ryan,” Miko’s voice echoed in the large tunnels, “over here!”

Ryan quickly examined the place. It took a moment for her eyes to land on Miko, let alone even see her. “I’m coming!”

When Ryan thought it was the right time, she bolted out of her hiding spot. She thought she was home free when a large servo plucked her off the ground. She turned to glare at the cherry red Decepticon who had her. Great, she was stuck in Knockout’s slimy servos.

“Not so fast.” He said, sounding very irritated. “I don’t have time for games, fleshy. You are going to tell me where Lana is.”

Ryan was immediately puzzled. She swallowed the huge lump that formed in her throat. “Lana? I don’t know who that is!”

That was when Knockout rolled his optics. “What was I expecting from an Autobot-sympathizer and Ratchet’s pet?”

Ryan rolled her eyes back at him. “I don’t know either!”

“Soundwave, I need a bridge.” Knockout said as he pressed a digit to his helm, ignoring the girl. “I have one of the Autobots' flesh bags.

Ryan couldn’t help but whisper, “scrap.”

Ryan could feel the blood draining from her face. She was about to scream when she stopped. That would only make matters worse. She was certain the cherry red medic wouldn’t hesitate to end her here if she so much as made a noise he determined to be threatening. The problem was that the Autobots didn’t know where she was. She didn’t even know if Miko knew what happened to her. Now, she was in the Decepticons’ servos. She could be stuck with them forever. She might never come back from this. She had to stop herself right then and there from thinking those thoughts. Those ideas… they were scary.

A swirling portal of beautiful green and blue colors popped up a few yards to the right of Knockout. Ryan prepared herself for the nausea as he stepped inside, but her stomach was attacked with queasiness anyway. She groaned, biting the side of her lip very hard. She didn’t think she would ever get used to that. The Autobots were lucky they didn’t have to deal with what a human felt going through a ground bridge.

It didn’t take long for her eyes to readjust to the surroundings around her. The halls were large, as if they continued on forever. A few Vehicons walked by, giving her curious glances. She only shot them with what she thought was an intimidating stare before she returned to examining the place around her. The dark purple walls, the dark lighting, the dark and depressing air around them... the Decepticons really liked it dark, didn’t they?

“She was here all along?” Knockout suddenly said, his tone sounding as if he was completely done. “Well, at least she didn’t get taken.”

Nothing was making any sense. It was clear to Ryan who he was talking about. This so-called Lana... surely it couldn’t be a Decepticon or any sort of Cybertronian. It definitely couldn’t be a human. There was no way anyone would be allied with the ‘Cons, except for maybe MECH. That really begged the question: Who was Lana? And why was she here?
