Chapter 8

I stood outside Lily's bedroom which was situated a few doors down from my own.

' Lil, i'm going shopping do you want to come? Dain said that we could skip training this afternoon to go.' I said knocking on the door. From the other side of the door I could hear nearly squeal, heavy footsteps where she was running across the room getting herself ready. I opened the door and strode in, sitting myself on her bed watching her run around. When we were ready we headed downstairs to the garage where Dane kept his cars. I press the button on the keys that Dain had thrown at me and a sleek black sports car flashes.

' He let you drive the mustang? He never lets anyone drive the Mustang.' Lily questioned, her tone was shocked which matched the expression on her face.

' I didn't know it was this car, he just launched the keys at me in the office.' I answered the grin spreading across my face. We both opened the doors to the sleek black Mustang and slid into the smooth black leather seats, with red stitching. We pulled out of the garage and headed towards town.

An hour later we pulled into the parking lot and pulled into a space putting the car in Park. We got out of the car and headed into the mall to begin our shopping trip.

Heading in the mall, it was swarming with humans. The strong smell hitting my nose as we walked through the doors. I lifted my nose and sniffed the air as Idid Lily. I couldn't scent any wolves in the vicinity. Each wolf has a unique smell, for example Lily smells like lemoncello cream and freshly made strawberry cheese cake. The smell was sweet and easily distinguishable.

We headed to the first store and looked around I picked up a pair of gym leggings as well as a couple of sports bras. Lily was over looking at the underwear, she shouted me over to have a look at what she had picked up. I trudged over, items I had already picked up draped across my arm. When I got to Lily she was showing me each piece of underwear she had picked out. Each piece was all frills and lace. The bra's she picked out had so much padding in it that it was going to be impossible to get any boob in there at all. I had decided that this place wasn't where I was going to buy my underwear. I hid my Disapproval of the underwear from Lily and smiled and nodded at her. She giggled and ran off back into the piles of pants and bras to pick out more.

I headed to the shoe section to look at trainers. Since I've been staying at the Shadow pack Dain had sent one of the Pack members shopping for me the day after I had arrived. They got the necessities, underwear, leggings tops and trainers. As well as bathroom products that I might need. Where those things were nice and I did appreciate them, it would be nice to pick things for myself. I'd never picked anything for myself, it was always given to me. Looking at the trainers I found two pairs I couldn't decide between. A pair of black, grey and orange Reebok trainers and a pair of grey and pink sketches go run. I picked up both adding them to the items I had already picked up and headed to the till. I paid for the items and the cashier put them in a reusable paper bag. I thanked the cashier and went to find Lily.

The next store we went in was a shop called lush. It's sold bath bombs, shower gels, and lots of other bath and shower items. I picked up a body scrub, shower gel and a few bath bombs adding them to the small black basket I had picked up at the door. Lily was distracted with the variety of Bath Bombs, happily chatting away to the sales assistant about each one. I was getting a headache, decided I needed out of this store. I headed to the tills and once again paid using Dain's credit card and went and waited outside for Lily. When she finally emerged from the shop, four different bags clutched in her hand. I looked at her and chuckled.
