The sun was just starting to set, casting a warm glow through the window of my apartment. It was my birthday, but to be honest, it felt like any other day. I had planned to keep things low-key, maybe indulge in some takeout and a good movie. But as I sipped my coffee and flipped through channels, a nagging feeling told me something was off.

I heard a soft knock at the door. My heart raced as I approached, unsure of who it could be. I swung the door open, and there stood Axl Rose, casually leaning against the frame, a cheeky grin on his face. I blinked in disbelief.

"Axl? What are you doing here?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

He stepped inside, his presence filling the room with an electric energy. "Happy birthday, babe," he said, pulling a small, beautifully wrapped box from behind his back. "I couldn't let the day go by without doing something special for you."

I took the box, overwhelmed. "You didn't have to do this..."

Axl waved his hand dismissively. "Nah, I wanted to. Open it."

With trembling fingers, I tore into the wrapping, revealing a vintage vinyl of Appetite for Destruction. My heart soared. "Oh my god, Axl, this is incredible!"

He chuckled, his eyes sparkling. "I figured you could use a little rock in your life."

We sank onto the couch, the vinyl now spinning on my record player, the familiar notes filling the space between us. Axl leaned back, a comfortable smirk on his lips. "You know, I have a bit more planned for you tonight."

"Oh really?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "What could top this?"

He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "How about dinner at that little Italian place you love? And maybe a little surprise afterward?"

I couldn't help but laugh. "You're full of surprises today, aren't you?"

"Only for you," he said, his gaze steady and warm.

I felt a flutter in my stomach. There was something about Axl—his intensity, his passion—that always made my heart race. "You're making this birthday unforgettable."

"Just wait until you see what else I have in store," he replied, winking.

As we shared stories, laughter filling the room, I marveled at how easily the conversation flowed. Time slipped away, and soon we were off to dinner, Axl's arm draped casually over my shoulder as we walked through the bustling streets.

After a delightful meal filled with laughter and shared glances, Axl took my hand, leading me to a nearby park. The night air was cool, and the stars twinkled overhead.

"What's the surprise?" I asked, trying to contain my excitement.

"Just a little something I thought you'd like." He stopped in front of a small stage set up for a local band. "I talked to the guys, and they're going to let us jump up and do a song together."

My jaw dropped. "Axl, no way!"

He laughed, clearly enjoying my shock. "Yep. You ready to rock?"

Before I could respond, he pulled me onto the stage. The crowd cheered as the band started to play a familiar tune. Axl handed me a microphone, and as we sang together, I felt a surge of joy like never before.

After our impromptu performance, the crowd erupted in applause, and I couldn't help but laugh. I turned to Axl, breathless. "This is the best birthday ever!"

He pulled me close, his breath warm against my ear. "It's only just beginning. You deserve all of this and more."

As we stepped off the stage, my heart was racing—not just from the thrill of performing, but from being with him. Axl made me feel alive in a way I never expected.

We wandered back to my apartment, the night still young, and as I opened the door, I turned to him, a smile lighting up my face. "Thank you for everything, Axl. You really made this special."

He stepped closer, his gaze softening. "You're worth it, you know?"

And in that moment, with the music still playing softly in the background, I knew that this birthday wouldn't just be a memory—it was the start of something extraordinary.
