~1984~

"Jeff, you got to sit still!" I said trying to tease his hair for Cinderella's first show. I was Cinderella's makeup, costume and hair person. I basically did everything to set up for the show. "Good enough!" He said swatting my hands away as I rolled my eyes, he was the last member I had to do. I just so happen to be their manager too.

You might know my father, Sam Philips? The guy who recorded Elvis Presley? Yup that's my dad! Cinderella records at the studio sometimes and they're released their first album. Which topped the charts, it was amazing to see. "Guys, huddle up." I said as we all did, it was like a thing we did to give each other a pep talk.

"Listen, this is your first big show since the record released. Have fun, but remember not to show too much love emotions towards each other." I said looking at Eric and Tom, they were dating but we kept it hush hush because the band was just now taking off. "Good luck. Cinderella on three, 1 2 3. Cinderella!" We said in unison. "And now please welcome to the stage. Cinderella!" The announcer said.

"Good luck guys." I said smiling as they headed onto the stage. I danced and sang backstage to every song, they were really good and I'm surprised they aren't bigger yet. I peeked behind the curtain and I saw Fred's girlfriend in the audience. I smiled and gestured towards the security guard to let her backstage after the show. "You know her?" He asked confirming that she was allowed back there.

"She's Fred's girlfriend." I said as he nodded, adding her name to the list. I looked at the list and saw Jeff's girlfriend was supposed to be here tonight too. I sighed, she was such a slut and clearly only with him for the money. 

~After the show~

"You guys did amazing!" I said high fiving them and hugging them. "Oh, Fred. I have a surprise." I said smirking as he looked genuinely confused. "Fred!" Ellis said running and hugging him as he hugged her back spinning her around. "I thought you weren't going to make it!" He said hugging her tightly as he kissed her. 

"Well I got someone to cover my shift." She said smiling as he kissed her. "Go you two lovebirds." I said as they ran to the motel across the street, which was the one we're staying at. Jeff looked depressed because Stacy was supposed to be here and well she's not. "Come on, Jeff. Let's just go back to the motel." I said as he sighed and walked with me, Eric and Tom to the hotel room. Unfortunately for me I had to share a room with Jeff. 

Or I guess it's unfortunate for him, who the fuck knows. He fell onto the bed as I rolled my eyes, "you are not sleeping in that." I glared at him. "What are you my mother?" He snarled as I knew this was going to end up in a fight, like always. "NO I'M LOOKING OUT FOR YOU!" I said trying to help him take off his shoes.

"MAYBE I DON'T WANT YOU TO." He yelled as I covered my mouth trying not to cry. "Wait- Y/N- I-" He tried to stop you but you ran out. You didn't even grab your coat but you didn't care. You shivered and rubbed your arms trying to warm up a little. "Jeff again?" Fred said coming out and putting his jacket on my shoulders, I was smoking a cigarette.

"Yep." I said popping the p, Fred's girlfriend came out and handed Fred a second jacket. She knew there was nothing between me and Fred, because she trusts him. I then turned to see Stacy walking into Jeff's hotel room and I looked at Fred. "What?" He said as his girlfriend leaned her head on his shoulder. 

"That." I said as we all turned as soon as we heard screaming, yelling and stuff breaking. Then you saw Stacy running out of the room with her stuff and Jeff slammed the door. "I better go check on him." I said putting out my cigarette as Fred and Ellis got up. "Please be safe." He said putting his hand on my shoulder as I nodded. "Promise I will." I said as he gave me a kiss on my forehead, it was something we always did.

I saw Ellis smile and give me a hug, she never hugged me. It was weird but I hugged her back. I gave Fred his jacket back before going inside and seeing the whole room was a fucking wreck. I wish I was kidding but it looked like a tornado had hit it.

I sighed and started cleaning it up, and I realized Jeff was nowhere to be seen. Once I was done cleaning up I checked the bathroom to find Jeff, in the tub...the water was red. "OH MY GOD!" I screamed and I think that woke the other band members because they all came running to where I was and stared wide eyed. "I'll call the ambulance!" Ellis said grabbing the phone as she dialed 911. "JEFF WAKE UP." I said shaking him as I was crying. I loved him so much and to think he did this over some whore?

"Y/N." Fred said putting his hand on my shoulder as I hugged him crying. Eric and Tom lifted Jeff gently out of the tub and tried their best to wrap the cuts. His body was lifeless, this is all my fault. "It's not your fault, Y/N." Fred said rubbing my back as we heard sirens. "Paramedics!" They said as Ellis showed them to where Jeff is. They asked a bunch of questions which I answered, we all rode in the ambulance to the hospital.

We had to wait outside and I was scared, I paced around the hospital as Ellis was asleep on Fred's lap. "Y/CH/N/N!" Sam ran in as he hugged me. I cried so hard on his shoulder, he knew how much I loved Jeff and knew this was hard for me. Definitely harder than when I lost my mother because I wasn't old enough to understand. "Family of Labar?" The doctor said as we all got up. "He lost a lot of blood, we were able to save him but he is currently in a medical induced coma. His body needs lots of time to rest to recover all the blood he lost." The doctor said as he showed us to the room. "He can still hear you." The doctor said as we nodded before he left us alone.

I immediately ran to Jeff's side and held his hand crying a bit. "I told you she wasn't worth it...I love you so much Jeff. I just never got the chance to say it. I wish I could've stopped you." I said crying as I laid my head on his stomach. Eric rubbed my back trying to calm me down, but it was near impossible.

I fell asleep in the hospital, waking up to see Jeff still having those tubes in his mouth and all the machines. I felt so helpless, "Coffee?" Tom said coming in with coffee as I took it. "It's going to be a while before he wakes up." Tom said as I nodded wiping some of my tears away. "Your dad postponed the tour until Jeff is better." Tom said sitting next to me on the couch. I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulder, "I feel like this is all my fault. If I didn't walk out he wouldn't have done this." I said as Tom rubbed my back. "There was nothing you could've done differently." He said as I nodded. 

"Guys, look-" Eric said pointing to the fact Jeff's eyes were fluttering open. I immediately hit the call nurse button as a nurse ran in and disconnected all the tubes and shit. "Jeff?" I asked looking at him as he had tears in his eyes now. I immediately went up to him and gave him a gentle hug as he played with my hair a bit. "I'm sorry." He said as I kissed him, I felt it was the right thing to do.

Fireworks went off in both of their heads as Jeff kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist. "Guys, we're still in the hospital." Eric said as we pulled away. 

All is as it should be now
