White...

Everything is white...

I can barely see...

The images become clearer...

The ground is white...

I see a woman playing with two kids...

Playing in the snow...

How long ago was this?..

I don't remember...

And yet, it feels so warm...

...

...

Everything is fading again...

...

..

.

Multiple screens and consoles are seamlessly turned off in a dark, abandoned room. Suddenly, a large pod containing a mysterious green substance emerges. Upon closer inspection, the silhouette of a person becomes visible inside the pod. Moments later, one of the screens lights up, contrasting the abandoned atmosphere. A loading bar appears on the screen, accompanied by small text.

''Activate Project Diamond''

Once the loading is nearly complete, it abruptly stops, and an error message appears. At the same time, the green substance starts draining from the pod. The person weakly steps out of the pod and falls to their knees as the substance flows out.

Frost: H-huh...

A weak voice echoes in the room as someone lies on the ground, trying to gather strength. Finally emerging from the pod, the person is revealed to have white fur and fox-like features, including yellow-shining eyes, white shoes, and dark blue rings on their wrists. The most striking feature is the machine-like disk on their chest, with a white transparent gem that appears to stick out.

After sitting for 10 minutes, the person begins to regain strength and stands up, looking confused as they take in their surroundings.

-Frosts POV-

Although my memory is hazy, I remember this place. But why does it look so run down? As I finally have the strength to stand up again, I make my way to the room's only light source. The moment I laid my eyes on the glowing screen, I saw a logo that caused me to remember quite a lot.

Frost: That Logo! I remember Dr. Starline, but where is he? If I look at the state of this facility, then he hasn't been here for a long time.

He saved me from the brink of death and promised me that if I helped him out, then-

Frost: Ahhhhhahhh!

This headache, why can't I remember the conversation about what happened back then? As I looked closer at the screen, there seemed to be a file connected to a folder with the title:

''Project Diamond''

Frost: Diamond? Is this referring to that weird stone in my chest?

I clicked on the folder to learn more about it, but most logs seemed unavailable.

''Welcome, Dr. Starline_.''

''Secondary Voice Print required_.''

Frost: No way I am getting past that-

My line of thought was interrupted as all the lights in the facility began to turn on.

''Voice Print denied.''
