The gods descended upon the Mothers, their armies armed with divine weapons, their hearts full of fury. Lazrael led the charge, his blade shimmering with the energy of the stars themselves.

"We shall take their power!" Lazrael roared, his blade cutting through the air toward Astralis.

In a blur, Astralis moved. It was as if the universe paused for her, each moment stretching out like a river, allowing her to step through time and space with ease. Lazrael's sword passed through nothing but air.

She whispered, "You do not understand."

With a flick of her wrist, Lazrael was hurled back, crashing into the nearest star, his armor shattered.

The battle raged on. Gods threw lightning, fire, and forces older than reality at the Mothers, but nothing touched them. Mother Lunara weaved through the chaos, her movements fluid, serene. Every strike aimed at her missed, as if the very concept of time bent around her form. She did not need to block, for nothing could reach her.

From above, Oris struck, summoning the endless flow of time to bind the Mothers.

"You cannot escape time itself!" he roared.

Lunara smiled, her eyes gleaming with the light of moons long forgotten. "But we are time."

She stepped forward, and Oris's bindings dissolved. His eyes widened in shock as Lunara reached out, touching his forehead lightly. In an instant, he was undone, his body unraveling into the endless timeline from whence he came.
