In the darkest regions of the multiverse, where even the stars dared not venture, a being stood on the edge of existence itself. Xalith, a rogue god who had once been a servant to the Mothers, watched with cold determination. He had seen the fall of Lazrael and Icaris, and though he did not mourn their loss, he understood the true significance of their power.
Xalith had not fought in the great battle. He had stayed hidden, watching and waiting, biding his time. The Children of the Cosmos thought the danger had passed, but he knew better.
Xalith: (muttering to himself) "The Mothers hold the multiverse in balance, but balance is a fragile thing. Chaos will always find a way."
He gazed into the abyss, feeling the remnants of Lazrael's broken power swirling in the distance. Slowly, he extended his hand, drawing the fragments toward him. They responded to his call, gathering like wisps of dark energy in his palm.
A cruel smile twisted his lips.
Xalith: (whispering to the void) "With this power, I will transcend them all. Not even the Mothers will be able to stop me."
He closed his fist, the fragments absorbing into his body. His eyes glowed with a malevolent light as he felt the surge of Ultra Instinct beginning to flow through his veins.
