With the fall of Lazrael and Icaris, peace returned to the cosmos, but it was a fragile peace. The Children of the Cosmos had seen firsthand the dangers of unchecked power, and they knew that vigilance would be required to keep the balance intact.
Ayla, now recognized as a leader among the Children, stood before the council of mortals and gods who had gathered to discuss the future.
Eroan, the veteran scholar, spoke first. "The gods have fallen, but what now? The cosmos still needs guidance."
Ayla: (firm, yet gentle) "The Mothers have shown us the way. We, the Children of the Cosmos, must take responsibility for the future. It is not enough to rely on gods or powers beyond our understanding. We must become the stewards of our own fate."
There was a murmur of agreement among the council, though some still looked uncertain.
Narin: "But what if another rises, like Lazrael or Icaris? What if the gods seek power again?"
Ayla smiled, her eyes glowing faintly with the cosmic energy she had learned to harness. "The Mothers will always be watching. But more than that, we are not alone. The power of the cosmos flows through all of us. We will stand together, as one."
