The battle on the celestial plains of Novarith raged with a ferocity the universe had never seen. Beams of cosmic light and tendrils of darkness clashed in midair, causing space and time itself to warp. The gods, led by Lazrael and Icaris, unleashed their remaining power, while the Children of the Cosmos tapped into the very essence of creation.
Lazrael strode through the battlefield, cutting down any who stood in his way, his eyes blazing with a furious light. He saw Ayla standing at the heart of her army, surrounded by the shimmering aura of the Mothers. With a roar, he lunged at her, his blade raised high.
Ayla raised her hand, a barrier of stardust forming between them. The two forces collided, sending shockwaves across the battlefield.
Lazrael: (snarling) "You think you can stand against me, mortal?"
Ayla: (calm, her voice filled with ancient wisdom) "I am not standing against you alone, Lazrael. I carry the will of the cosmos within me."
As their powers clashed, cracks began to form in the very fabric of reality. Space folded in on itself, and time unraveled like a loose thread. The cosmos trembled, and in that moment, both Lazrael and Ayla knew that this was no ordinary battle. The fate of existence hung in the balance.
Suddenly, a voice echoed across the battlefield, soft but commanding, as though spoken by the stars themselves.
Astralis: (her voice resonating across all of creation) "Enough."
A great light filled the sky, and the Mothers appeared above the battlefield, their forms towering and majestic. The gods and mortals alike stopped fighting, awestruck by the overwhelming presence of the Mothers.
Seraphis, her voice serene but filled with power, looked down upon the warring sides. "You have forgotten what you fight for. This is not about power, not about victory. It is about balance."
Lazrael glared at the Mothers, defiance in his eyes. "You cannot stop me. Not now."
Astralis raised her hand, and in an instant, Lazrael was frozen in place, held by invisible chains made of starlight. "You seek to unravel creation itself, Lazrael. That is something even you cannot control."
Icaris, ever the opportunist, began to slink away, his form shifting to blend into the shadows. But before he could vanish, Lunara's voice stopped him.
Lunara: (her voice cold as the void) "You will not escape your fate, Icaris."
With a flick of her hand, Icaris was pulled from the shadows and brought before the Mothers, his face twisted in fear.
