A week later, the temperature in the entire City C dropped sharply, as if it had suddenly transitioned from autumn to winter.
Sailub finished two hand-drawn Halloween-themed posters in four days.
Different from the one hanging on his wall, they faithfully fulfilled Boss Sammy’s requirements, both bizarre and adorable.
At the bottom were rows of diverse pumpkin lanterns, hiding timid ghosts behind them. On the top clearly stated the theme of the event, while on another page listed the limited edition Halloween set menu.
Sammy was quite satisfied, and immediately transferred the full payment.
Pon also stood by, looking at the posters and then at Sailub.
It was hard to imagine that such cute posters were made by the ice-faced Sailub.
Looks can be deceiving, and appearances can be misleading.
The price was right, so everything was fine.
What he didn’t expect was that, on their day off, Sailub really took him shopping for clothes.
Standing in the mall, Pon looked confused, while Sailub draped a black coat over him.
“Raise your hand.”
Sailub’s voice was cold, but his touch was not.Pon instinctively raised his hand, and the coat wrapped around him.
Lowering his head, he saw Sailub helping him fasten the horn buttons on the coat.
The buttons were dark brown, and Sailub’s fair hands contrasted with the black fabric.
Pon didn’t know what to do, he simply didn’t know what to say.
Just after work, Sailub took him straight to the mall.
He had completely forgotten about it, thinking it was for dinner, so he came along happily.
But when they arrived, they did have dinner, but Sailub also led him to the men’s section on the fourth floor.
He snapped back, repeatedly declining, but Sailub gave him a cold glance.
It’s hard to describe, that look was like Sailub holding a revolver in his hand, pointing it at his forehead, confirming whether he really intended to disobey orders.
So cold and cool.
Pon was so mesmerized that he felt like even James Bond didn’t have Sailub’s coldness.
He knew Sailub wanted him to shut up, but others might think Sailub was some trained assassin, acting out some kind of family drama.
Pon couldn’t help but drift off a bit, being an eighteen-year-old, his brain was always active, daydreaming all the time.
The person he secretly admired was right in front of him, so it was reasonable to imagine some cheesy idol dramas.
He blushed with embarrassment, and someone who didn’t know would think the mall’s air conditioning was too hot.
When he came back to his senses, Sailub had already picked out several different clothes and compared them on him for a while.
To be honest, Sailub’s aesthetic sense of clothing was limited.
He had a good figure, and even an old man’s shirt could be worn like a vest, so his standard for clothes was only two, simple and easy to take care of.
But it was different for Pon.
He put one fluffy piece of clothing after another on Pon.
Pon’s cheeks were blushing, his face delicate, his eyes clear. These childish clothes seemed just right on him.
