But the car had already pulled up to the restaurant door, and Topten and Garfield were waiting inside.

Pon unbuckled his seatbelt, opened the door, but after several seconds of getting out of the car, he didn’t see Sailub getting out.

He bent down and looked into the car, “What are you sitting there for?”

The car engine was off.

Sailub sat in the car, his neatly tailored trench coat slightly wrinkled from sitting.

He looked sideways, not saying anything else, just picked up the car keys, “Let’s go.”

As they walked together towards the restaurant upstairs, in the dim corridor, Sailub wondered what Pon’s friends would think when they saw him.

Of course, he knew Pon would have communicated and reassured them in advance. No one would embarrass him.

But putting himself in their shoes, if he were Pon’s friend, he probably wouldn’t want to see Pon reconcile with an ex-lover like him.

After so many years, Pon had been deeply hurt, and now he was healing.

In just a few minutes of contemplation, they had already arrived outside the private room.

The waiter opened the door, and the bright lights illuminated the predominantly black and white decoration style.

In the center was a black square table with several branch-shaped candles on it.

Next to it was a beige sofa, where two tall men were already seated.

Sailub first saw Topten, as he had known him for some years.

Compared to the slender and delicate appearance of years ago, Topten hadn’t changed much, just taller now and no longer looking frail.

But the man on the left was more striking. With silver streaks dyed into his black hair, his features were handsome and deep, casually playing with a black lighter in his right hand.

He smiled somewhat absentmindedly, proud yet reckless.

This was obviously Pon’s childhood friend, Garfield.

They heard the noise and turned their heads, both showing smiles on their faces.

Pon hurried forward and was enveloped in a hug by Garfield, who had already stood up.

In the years in London, not only had Pon grown taller, but Garfield had also grown for the second time, reaching a height of 1.77 meters, still slightly taller than Po n, looking like Pon’s older brother.

He was a few months older than Pon, and when he saw Pon, he smiled, looked him up and down, tousled Pon’s hair, and then scolded, “You brat, didn’t you want to see me? How heartless.”

Topten, seeing them hug for quite some time, kicked Garfield from behind with dissatisfaction. “Can you make some room? Is there no place for me?”

Garfield graciously made way for him.

Pon hugged Topten briefly and then turned to introduce Sailub.

He cleared his throat, “This is Sai. You all know him, so I won’t introduce him further.”

Then he said to Sailub, “These are my two best buddies. You know Topten, and this is Garfield beside him. I’ve mentioned you to him many times.”

They locked eyes.

Although they had heard about each other from Pon, they had never met before.

Their eyes met, and Garfield’s smile faded slightly, imperceptibly.
