"Is it delicious?" Wen Kexing scooped another ladle of soup into his soulmate's bowl.
"En. It tastes really good." Zhou Zishu smiled at the man in front of him and continued to eat. This sweet and sour fish soup really fitted his appetite.
Wen Kexing was happy right now. After not having good appetite for many days, his Ah Xu especially ate more tonight. "Eat slowly. I can cook this again tomorrow."
Zhou Zishu paused his chopsticks for seconds before he smiled up and nodded. "En, I know. Thank you, Lao Wen."
"My dear Ah Xu is very obedient tonight," Wen Kexing grinned at the other man who just glanced at him without a reply.
Together they ate until all the sweet and sour fish soup was finished. After eating, both of them walked around the courtyard to digest the food. Wen Kexing didn't forget to drap a blanket on Zhou Zishu's shoulders. After all, the man was still sick.
"The moon tonight is pretty." Zhou Zishu said as he stared up at the night sky.
"Ah Xu looks even better than the moon." An arm wrapped around Zhou Zishu's slim waist.
"I want to be your love for ever and ever,
Without break or decay.
When the hills are all flat,
The rivers are all dry.
When it thunders in winter,
When it snows in summer
When heaven and earth mingle,
Not till then will I part from you[1]."Zhou Zishu smiled upon hearing the blatant love confession. And he replied with another poem.
"In a light breeze I lean alone on railings of a tower high, I see the spring shrouded in sorrow against overcast sky.
Till green grass turns blurry during sunset, I draw no attention from anyone passed me by.
I want to drink and sing to stop feeling blue,
But the wine is tasteless and the song has nothing new.My clothes feel looser with no regrets,
Because I pine away only for special you[2].""So it seems that Ah Xu does know how to recite poem as well." Wen Kexing smiled down on the person in his arms. Somehow during reciting the poem, Zhou Zishu had eased into his embrace.
"It would be good if there's a fine wine." Zhou Zishu snuggled inside his soulmate's warm body.
Wen Kexing sighed and tightened his hold on the shorter man. "Wait till you're healthy. We'll wander around the Jianghu and buy any fine wine Ah Xu wants to drink."
Silent, Zhou Zishu didn't reply. He also knew in his own heart that with him being pregnant, there was no way he would endanger the life inside of himself by drinking alcohol.
"Ah Xu, it's getting colder. We should go inside now." Wen Kexing unwrapped his arms around the man. He didn't notice how the man in his embrace looked like he was going to cry. However, before he could pull away, Zhou Zishu had turned around and kissed the man.
Wen Kexing was again surprised. Ah Xu tonight was surprisingly active. He didn't hate it though, in fact, he loved an aggressive and active Ah Xu.
Breaking the kiss, Zhou Zishu leaned his forehead on Wen Kexing's shoulder, hiding his emotions. Both of them were still relishing the kiss they just had before he broke the silence.
Zhou Zishu wrapped his arms around Wen Kexing's neck and said in a soft voice, "Lao Wen, carry me."
In one smooth motion, Zhou Zishu's feet were swept off the ground. He instinctively tightened his hold on his soulmate's neck. Both of them stared into each other's eyes, full with pure unadulterated love.
