The Sleepover

(chapter six)
      
       It's been a couple days, since we've moved into the dorms and I feel like this is the only good time for my friends to come over for dinner. So much has been happening, and I'm just glad we finally have a break. My mom's been wanting to meet them for a while, but I just didn't think the time was right. It took a little bit of work, but I invited everyone and they are all able to come, even him. It's the day of the dinner and I've never been more pumped to clean my room. I started playing inspirational music and in about an hour, every single corner was spotless. Of course, they were coming later, but I was just so excited.

        I helped my mom clean the main room, we then moved on to start preparing all the veggies and meat for dinner. Another two hours pass by and we slouch down into the couch exhausted, "You must like these friends a lot Bunny. I've never seen you so excited to clean the house". She smiles, "I'm glad you found people you want to look your best for". I smirk, "I'm so happy to have him in my life". She looks over at me with widened eyes, "Him? Is this "him" the special person you've been hiding from me?". Her eyes light up and an evil grin starts to form on her face, "Well, yeah I think he's coming". Her eyes get soft and her grin turns into a smile, " I would beg you to tell me who it is, but I don't think you ever will. However, my mother's intuition will tell me who it is right away". She laughs to herself and I glance at her, "Well good for you, because I won't spill who it is". We sit there for a second and then laughter abruptly fills the air. Once we calm down, my mom turns on the TV and we await our guests arrival.

       After another hour, we hear a knock at the door. It's 5 pm, so who's ever at the front door, is like perfectly on time. My mom jumps up from her seat and runs to open the door. I'm a step behind her and watch her as she reveals my friends outside. First, Mina walks in, "Hello, Ms. Kirishima, the flowers outside are beautiful". My mom takes Mina's hands in hers, "Thank you, you all can call me Ms. Kokoro". The next person is Kaminari, "Hello beautiful young lady, are you Kirishima sister?" My mom smiles, "Oh no young man. I'm Kirishima's mother". I shake my head in disgust and see Sero is the third one to enter, "Hello, Ms. Kokoro. Thank you for inviting us into your room". He brings my mom's hand up to his lips and kisses it, "Sero... bro... are you BOTH trying to hit on my mom????". My mom giggles and lets him in.

       The last person is Bakugo. Honestly I wasn't expecting him to come. My mom glances back at me and then towards him again with a smile. Before she can say anything, he hands her a bouquet of white carnations. She smiles and holds them close to her heart, "It's really nice to meet you". She looks at him with a heartwarming smile and then turns to the rest of the group, "Please make yourselves at home, I'll have dinner ready soon. Feel free to do whatever you would like".

          She exits into the kitchen and I lead everyone to my room. Kaminari is the first to open his big mouth, "Woah, Kirishima, there's a LOT of workout equipment. Like more than needed". Mina starts poking her head around, "Kirishima..." She looks over to me, "Why do you have a bookshelf?". I look at her dumbly, "So I can reread my favorite books?". The four of them look at me, "You read?". I think they all said in unison, of course Bakugo stayed quiet. They start to laugh and we move on to talk about the new dorms. Me and Bakugo are sitting on my bed, Mina is swinging in my hanging chair, Sero is sitting in my wooden chair, and Kaminari is sitting on the floor.

        Knock Knock. "Hiiiii everyone, dinner is ready if you'd like to come out now". We all stand up in unison. It was kind of creepy how in sync we were to be honest. We make it to the table and I'm surprised at how many dishes she made. I wasn't kidding when I said she was excited. The entire table was completely covered by foods of all types. We all thank her for the meal and dig in. We start talking about the dorms, class, and how it is to work with pro heroes. Unfortunately, Bakugo was sat on the end of the table and I was sat next to my mom. Don't misunderstand, I love my mom. I just wish I was sitting closer to him. But, since he was in range, I got to see all of the dishes he picked out. Hopefully we made his favorite ones.
 
         Dinner sadly ended, and everyone was getting ready to make their way back to the dorms or their own house. They all thanked my mom for letting them come over, but I could tell she didn't want them to leave, "Aww why don't you all stay overnight? It's alright with me if any of you want to!". Mina shakes her head, "I'm sorry, I have to go home and visit my mom, but thank you for inviting me Ms. Kokoro". Sero interjects, "Of cou- Ow". Kaminari jabs him in the side, "Im sorry Ms. Kokoro. Sero promised me he'd..... um.... fix my... bed at the dorms!!!!" He gives her a big smile and she sighs. She shifts her focus to Bakugo, "What about you?". He looks up to think, then looks to her, "Yeah, I can stay". I high five Kaminari behind my back and everyone leaves. Now it's just me and him. Well, and my mom.
