chapter 6

Jace's POV
"it's getting late, can I crash here?" ethan asked Amber.
"yeah..sure." she said looking through her phone.
"who's that?" I asked looking at a picture of her and a girl.
"it's um. it's Cassidy." she said wiping away tears.
ethan slowly got up and looked at the girl with beautiful golden blonde hair, braces, and a pearly white smile.
"she's beautiful, isn't she?" she said sniffling and smiling.
"she is.." ethan whispered.
"this was the last picture we took together." she said.

Ambers POV
"what I would do to be with her..she was your most dedicated fan ethan.."
*flashback*
"Cassidy? where are you?" I called out, shivering.
I heard a weep, I turned and saw a girl standing on the edge of the building.
"Cassidy?"
"I'm so sorry..I love you Amber. so much."
"CASSIDY NO!" I said running towards the ledge. but it was too late. she was gone.
I bent down crying, looking down towards the ground.
I hurried back down to the ground and grabbed my best friend..and just held her, wondering why God chose her. why?
"why..why did you do it Cassie?!"
*end of flashback*
"we should get to bed." jace said, knocking me out of my thoughts.
"yeah..goodnight." I said as Jace kissed me.
"goodnight Cassie" I whispered.

Ethan's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, I heard grunting, and choking in the bathroom.
I stood up and lazily walked to the bathroom. it's amber in there.
I tried to open the door and suddenly became fully awake. it's locked.
"Amber! open up!" I said banging on the door.
Jace came out.
"what's going on?" he asked rubbing his eyes.
"amber!" I yelled, Jace soon became aware of what's going on.
"Hello Ms.Brown! I need something to unlock the bathroom door now!" Jace said on the phone.
"there's an extra key on the door frame what's going on?" she said.
"amber won't open up!"
"okay I'll be there in about 3 hours..I'm sorry please make sure my babies okay!" she said starting to cry.
since I'm taller than jace I reached up and grabbed the key and unlocked the door shakily.
"I WANNA BE WITH CASSIE! I WANNA BE WITH CASSIE!" she screamed.
blood was everywhere, and pills were spilled all over the floor.
"call ambulance!" i said.
Jace called an ambulance while i started picking her up.
"please stay with me amber..please stay with me please." I said said.
Jace stood there in shock.
an ambulance came and took her with us in the back, and she became unconscious.
