-For anyone who wants it, I'm giving out a tip for writing stories if not just skip this-

-Plan the chapter in a few words. Basically, pick something that you want to happen at the end then fill the rest in. Like in the last chapter, I wanted Elegance to find out that she didn't know how to use the dream visitor, so I worked out some information to put in around that and tried to get to 1,000 word or more-

-Another example was chapter 14. The main thing I wanted to happen was for Tsunami to find El, and I got there by also adding some extra information about meeting Star-

-Have fun writing fanfics and if you have a good one comment it and I'll try and read it!-

-Thanks everyone and have a good time!-

When Elegance awoke the next morning, she was surprised to find that she swelling in her wing had gone down a lot, but it was still hurting slightly.

Maybe I'll try flying today, Elegance thought positively. (I'd just like to say that we've reached 100,000 characters! That means that my fingers have touched these keys 100,000+ times!)

Elegance took a few steps back, stretched her wings out and up, then took a bound forward, preparing to leap into the sky but before she could the weight of another dragon fell on her back with a loud thud.

"Roar!" she growled, trying to turn her head to see the dragon. All could feel was cool scales pinning her down, and talons grabbing her horns to stop her head from moving as her body thrashed in vain attempts to throw the dragon off.

Is this dragon Moor? Is it her partner? How have I already been found?

The weight on her back suddenly disappeared and with it came the snorty laugher of a dragonet.

"You should have seen you're face," the dragon laughed, and Elegance wiped around, expecting to see the black and beige scales of Moor, but instead found herself staring at a completely different dragon. One with webbed feet, turquoise eyes, bright pink neck frills, and massive jaws full of sharp teeth like a trout.

"Canvas?" Elegance asked dumbfounded.

"Who were you expecting? Anyway! I saw you leaving and was like, hey, lets follow her! And then I found this piece of paper while you were sleeping." Canvas help up the Hybrid poster, staring at it intently. "And now I'm coming with you!"

"But- that's not what I'm doin-"

"Tisk-tisk, you're not leaving me again! So, are we flying now or what?" the SeaWing RainWing asked excitedly, poking Elegance in the snout with a pointy talon.

"I saw that Peak had gone as well, so even if you don't take me, I'm going," she announced matter-of-factly.

Elegance sighed and thought for a moment, still shocked at Canvas's sudden and dramatic appearance.

If you leave her to fly there alone, Moor might hurt her. Elegance sighed and slapped her head for thinking of such an annoying, logical reason.

Fine," she murmured before leaping into the air. Her wings flew out awkwardly, almost hitting Canvas in her snooty, self-righteous face which she would have deserved.

Elegance was slowly getting better at getting over her fear of flying which made her a little brighter.

Canvas beat her wings so that she was flapping mid-air beside Elegance, her eyes scanning the forest around them.

Elegance flew a little higher so that she was clear of the trees and started to look for the sandy landscape of the dessert. And sure enough, far off in the distance, the rolling dunes of golden grains were visible. At least a two-day flight, Elegance realised with a sigh.

"Let's get going," she murmured, signalling with a wave of her talon for Canvas to follow.

"You know, you seem a lot less nervous now than you did when I first met you," Canvas said after a long silence as they flew. Elegance glanced back a the SeaWing but didn't say anything. "And allllsssooo, I'm willing to take you back as a friend! Aren't I amazing?"

Elegance stared at Canvas for a second, eyes slightly narrowed, thinking. If she said yes, that would make Canvas slightly less annoying. Even if both Star and Peacemaker were much better friends. "Mhm," she agreed while disagreeing in her mind.

As midday came, so did the sun. Harsh rays beat down on their back, and even though Elegance was half SandWing the sun still made her scale hurt. Not as much as Canvas though, who was gasping and panting which wasn't to much of a surprise. SeaWings were meant for gliding effortlessly through the water, not dragging themselves through the sky while the sun was out.

"Let's take a break," Elegance offered, casting a wistful glance at the dessert's sands. Still so far to go... I could probably make it there quicker if Canvas weren't here, she thought ruefully. At least she had company though.

"Finally!" Canvas groan and tilted her wings down so she glided to the grassy ground.

Elegance had stopped numerous times now. Every time she did though, the thought that Moor would be getting closer and closer to Possibility scared her.

"Just a quick break!" Elegance called down, still hovering in the air, and staring at the dessert.

"Sure, and scavengers fly," Canvas said, whispering the last part as she flopped over in the long grass, lazily batting away a fly that flew to close.

Elegance turned her gaze back to the sands, wondering what they would feel like on her scales, then remembering that she had a mission, stopped daydreaming.

"Canvas! Time to go!" she called down after several minutes, still staring at the Dessert.

Elegance waited for a few moments, but Canvas didn't reply. "Canvas, we don't have time for this, we have to get going!" Elegance called down, this time turning her head to see Canvas.

Or where she'd thought Canvas would be at least. That's not weird at all. Tilting her wings like Canvas had done, she dived to the ground.

The grass was crushed from where Canvas had been rolling, and another trail spilt through from it, leading back to some tall oak trees.

"Canvas, we REALLY need to get going. Where are you?" she called again, not expecting an answer.

"Over here!" came the smug call of Canvas.

Elegance shrugged but headed in the direction of the voice. Canvas's tail was just visible from behind the thick trunk of an oak.

"Guess what I found!" Canvas called and Elegance's tail twitched nervously.

As Elegance trotted up behind the tree, she was met with Canvas's happy face.

"This!" the SeaWing hybrid chanted holding up a piece of paper. A familiar piece of paper.

"Wait! That's the poster?" Elegance pulled the hybrid poster out of her bag and compared the two. "So, Moor-" Elegance paused, staring at Canvas who hadn't seemed to notice at all. Now wasn't the time to consult her in her theory. "Another poster," Elegance murmured.

"Yeah! Whoever put these up must have had to do a lot of flying! I could never," the hybrid said, holding up a wing and staring at it sadly. "I don't ever believe I've felt this tired!"

The sign of the posters appearance gave Elegance a second wind and she sudden straightened up. "Let's get going," she prompted, and Canvas nodded glumly.

"Fine, but once we reach the dessert, I'm going to have a BIG break!" Canvas announced as they took off once again.

Elegance knew now that they couldn't stop though. They couldn't afford any more time to be lost.
