Krit woke up to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, feeling the warmth of Vel's body against his. The previous night had been a blur of passion, but this morning, the quiet intimacy between them felt different, more tender. Their clothes were scattered across the bed, half-covering their naked bodies, but neither of them seemed to care. Krit shifted slightly, his arm draped over Vel's chest, and closed his eyes again, wanting to stay in this peaceful moment for a bit longer.
Vel, who had been awake for a few minutes, turned his head to look at Krit. The silence between them felt comfortable, but Vel had something on his mind. He bit his lip, his heart racing as he finally found the courage to speak.
"Krit?" Vel's voice was soft, almost hesitant.
Krit blinked his eyes open, slowly adjusting to the light. He turned his head to meet Vel’s gaze, his lips curling into a sleepy smile. "Hmm?"
"Do you actually... love me?"
The question hung in the air for a moment, and Krit's heart skipped a beat. He hadn’t expected Vel to ask something like that, not after all they'd been through. But there was no hesitation in his answer.
"Of course, I do," Krit replied, his voice steady and full of certainty. He pushed himself up slightly, his eyes locking onto Vel’s, searching for what might have prompted the question. "Why would you even ask that?"
Vel looked away for a second, his cheeks turning pink, which was unusual for someone who had always seemed so composed. But he felt vulnerable now, in a way that even last night hadn’t made him feel.
"I just... wanted to know," Vel said quietly. "Would you like to go on a date with me?"
Krit’s eyes widened. He stared at Vel, processing the question, and then a flood of emotions rushed through him—shock, happiness, and a kind of excitement he hadn’t felt in a long time. A date? After everything that had happened between them, this felt like a step forward, a confirmation that their connection was more than just physical.
Krit’s lips parted, and he blinked rapidly, trying to find the right words. “You... want to go on a date with me?”
Vel nodded, looking a little unsure, as if he wasn’t sure if Krit would say yes or if he had overstepped.
Krit’s expression softened, and he couldn't help but smile, his happiness shining through. "I’d love to go on a date with you, Vel."
Vel exhaled, relieved, but before he could respond, Krit leaned in closer, his face just inches away from Vel’s. His eyes, full of affection, studied Vel’s features, and the intensity of his gaze made Vel's heart race.
“Vel,” Krit murmured, his voice low, “can I kiss you?”
Vel’s face flushed again, something that Krit noticed with a small grin. For someone who had been so confident last night, it was adorable to see him like this—shy and unsure, but also undeniably soft.
Vel nodded, his eyes lowering in a mix of embarrassment and anticipation. “Y-Yeah…”
Krit didn’t waste a second. He leaned in and pressed his lips to Vel’s cheek, starting with a small, tender kiss. But it wasn’t just one kiss. Krit couldn’t stop himself—he kissed Vel’s forehead, his temples, his nose, his chin, and even the corner of his lips. Each kiss was light and playful, but full of meaning.
“Why are you so cute this morning?” Krit whispered between kisses, his breath warm against Vel's skin.
Vel squirmed under Krit's affection, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never felt so flustered before, not even during their more intimate moments. The feeling of Krit’s lips brushing across his face, leaving little kisses everywhere, made him feel vulnerable, but in a good way. He closed his eyes and let out a soft laugh, half trying to hide his face in the pillow.
