Vel stood in his office, reviewing the new hiring protocols, fully focused on the stack of papers in front of him. As the HR manager, he was known for his no-nonsense approach. Everything in the workplace needed to remain professional, and Vel made sure to keep it that way—even with Krit. Especially with Krit.
But Krit had different ideas.
Krit was notorious for pushing boundaries—at least when it came to Vel. Ever since things between them had shifted from mere acquaintances to something much deeper, Krit found it hard to keep his hands off Vel, no matter the setting.
Krit enters Vel's office, the door closing softly behind him.
“Morning, Vel,” Krit said, his voice low and teasing.
Vel didn’t even look up from his papers. “Krit, we’re at work,” he reminded him, the faintest trace of a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. But his focus stayed on the paperwork.
Krit walked up behind Vel, quietly slipping closer until his chest was pressed against Vel’s back. He leaned down, his lips brushing against the nape of Vel's neck.
“You know, you smell incredible today,” Krit whispered, his breath warm against Vel's skin.
Vel tensed, his professional resolve cracking slightly. “Krit—” he warned, trying to maintain composure. But Krit was persistent.
“I can’t help it,” Krit murmured, his lips grazing Vel’s ear now. “No one’s looking. No one has to know.”
Vel straightened, pulling away just enough to keep some space between them. “We’re at the office,” he repeated firmly, turning to face Krit. “You need to act like it.”
Krit smirked, his hands sneaking around to Vel’s waist, giving a soft squeeze. “I am acting like it. I’m just very... invested in our HR policies,” he teased.
Vel shot him a look, though his cheeks were warming. “Krit—"
But before Vel could finish, Krit’s hand slipped lower, lightly grazing the curve of his waist and down towards his hip. His eyes flicked to the door for a brief second, making sure it was still closed. "What?" Krit asked innocently. "Am I not allowed to appreciate my HR manager?"
Vel swallowed, doing his best to keep things in check. “You really need to stop,” he managed, but there was a tremor in his voice that Krit didn’t miss.
Krit leaned in closer, his lips now trailing slow kisses from Vel’s jaw to the side of his neck, making Vel shift uncomfortably, though not in a bad way.
"Just admit it," Krit whispered between kisses. "You like this as much as I do."
Vel bit his lip, trying to hold back the small smile threatening to break through his professional mask. "Krit, you really—" But then, without warning, Krit pulled back and slapped Vel lightly on the ass.
Vel jumped, spinning around to face him, eyes wide with surprise.
“Krit!” he hissed, though his flushed cheeks betrayed him.
Krit grinned, leaning against the desk with his arms crossed, looking far too pleased with himself. “What? It’s harmless. We’re behind closed doors, no one will know.” His eyes sparkled mischievously. “And you liked it.”
Vel sighed deeply, rubbing his temple. “You’re impossible. We can’t keep doing this here.”
But Krit stepped forward again, closing the distance between them once more. This time, he placed a gentle hand on Vel’s shoulder, his touch soft and sincere. "I can’t help it," Krit said quietly, his teasing tone giving way to something softer. "I just... miss being close to you. And I can’t wait until we’re off work.”
