3: Snake bite

(Lydia POV)
"Are we nearly there yet?" I groan as I cling onto Lloyds shoulder, we're walking through forest with trees as tall as skyscrapers, seriously they're massive, it's late at night and the whole forest is super foggy, it's super creepy and i don't want to be here much longer, though luckily for me I've always had good eyes and can see pretty well in the dark but it still gives me the chills.

"Why you scared?" Lloyd mocks "no" I lie and give him a shove just then I hear a noise and cling back onto his shoulder and we continue walking without a word.

"it's not scary" Lloyd breaks the silence as we walk into what seems to be some sort of graveyard "not even a bit, okay maybe just a little" he admits "but we like scary, yeah that's it, we're the children of the dark Lord we love the dark!" He proclaims "y-yeah we eat the dark for breakfast!" I stutter as we get near an old, dead tree.

Lloyd shines the flashlight at the tree and screams in fright, which causes me to scream in shock "WHY DID YOU SCREAM" I yell-whisper once I calm down "th-that tree scared me" he says trying to defend himself "it's the tree on the map" I point out ignoring him "the tombs around here, we'll make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying us" I grin "yeah we'll unleash the Fangpyres on them" Lloyd smirks "if there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's got to be another snake"

We push dust and fog away from the tomb "soon the serpentine will know who their master is and it will be us, LLOYD and Lydia GARMADON!" he declares and just as he does so thunder strikes behind us causing me and Lloyd to immediately hug each other for safety. When the thunder stops we move away "ahem" I say awkwardly "uh open the tomb then" I nudge.

As Lloyd presses the button to open the Fangpyres tomb the door opens up (we don't fall down this time) and tons of snakes jump out "WHOA" me and Lloyd shout in surprise and take a step back.

We turn around to see who seems to be the snake general, he has two heads and is almost completely red with a few white spots and he had long fangs. "And who, 𝑚𝑎𝑦 𝐼 𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑠, from our captivity"(the weird font is the high pitched head speaking) it was kinda weird but cool how the took turns to speak. "u-uh Lloyd and Lydia" Lloyd stuttered "we uhm released you to make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying us" he states.

"𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐻𝑦𝑝𝑛𝑜𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑖?" One head says turning to the other one "those hypnotizing deceivers" the other one answers "𝑖𝑡'𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒, our pleasure" they say together "oh good, i-i'll lead the way" Lloyd says sounding less scared and I move away from hiding behind him, not that I was scared just.. Wanted to make sure no one tried attacking from the back.. Yeah "then after that there's some ninja I want to deal with" I add "sounds like, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤, what you want, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐻𝑦𝑝𝑛𝑜𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑖 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔. And we are few in numbers, 𝑤𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑, reinforcements" they say, still taking it in turns "well what did you have in mind?" Me and Lloyd ask in unison but only get a weird hiss in response.

Me, Lloyd and the Fangpyre break into some old junk yard, I don't see what the use is but I go along with it. We were there for a small amount of time when a car pulls in and an elderly couple come out, and I feel kind of bad, the Fangpyre told us to restrain them but they seem so nice, the man is building something for their son, jay. "Lloyd I feel kind of bad they seem so nice" I whisper to Lloyd "it's okay Lyds, we're not going to hurt them, plus this is to get revenge on the Hypnobrai for betraying us, remember?" Lloyd reminds me "yeah you're right" I say confidently.

The power goes out. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘱𝘺𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵 off I assume "whoever's there, my sons knows spinjitzu" the husband states, 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘫𝘪𝘵𝘻𝘶? 𝘐𝘴𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘫𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘥𝘰, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴?
