5: Can of snakes

(Lydia POV)
I wake up to Lloyd gently shaking me "wha-?" I grumble as I open my eyes tiredly "cmon Lyd wake up everyone else is asleep let's have a look around!" Lloyd excitedly chucks my hoodie at me and I get up still half asleep.

"Ugh what time is it" I ask with a yawn "uhh 5? I'm not sure" he shrugs "5!?!??!!" I say eyes practically falling out of their sockets "Lloyd you know I don't normally get up until like 9 what are we doing up at 5!" I demand as I put my hoodie on "I just wanna have a look arounnnddd" Lloyd pleads "ugh okay fine but I'm going straight to bed after" I say as I follow Lloyd out of our bedroom.

We sneak through the hallways looking into the rooms, we see the ninja all sleeping and Lloyd starts to giggle "what is it?" I ask trying to see what he could be laughing at "look jays sleeping with a stuffed animal" he giggles. I look in and sure enough he is "wow I can't believe it we don't even do that anymore!" I say giggling a little, even though I probably still would be doing that if all my Teddy's hadn't been destroyed at darklys.

Me and Lloyd move on and see what looks to be some sort of meditation room, we go in and see a cupboard which Lloyd opens and a book falls out "SHHHHH" I angrily whisper at Lloyd holding a finger over my mouth. We wait a second to see if anyone will come to check what the noise was, and when they don't I reach down to put the book back.

As I pick the book up I read the cover and gasp "Lloyd!!" I whisper at him excitedly "what?" He says peaking over at the book "it's the ninjas lesson plan!!" I grin at him and he smirks back "give it here!" He says evily as he snatches it out of my hands "hey-" I protest but he gets it "let's look at what lessons they have"

Just as we were about to read the book we hear someone coming down the hall and stare at each other wide eyed "GO GO GO" I whisper-yell at Lloyd and we bolt back to our room.

"Do you think they saw us?" Lloyd pants "more like heard us" I say as I collapse on my bed "I don't think they did" Lloyd reassures himself "let's look at the book now!!" He says getting it out of his pocket "ehh you can I'm going back to sleep" I say yawning as I turn away from him and get under the covers "Lydi" he says smacking me "mm tell me what it says in the morning" I grumble shacking his hand off and with that I doze off.

I wake up to the smell of eggs, bacon and toast and me and Lloyd wonder into the kitchen to see Wu cooking breakfast "ahh you two are up!" He says serving us a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon with a bit of toast and butter "thank you uncle" Lloyd says mouth watering as he begins to shovel down his food like a savage.

"This uh this isn't poisoned is it?" I ask, an eyebrow raised. Uncle laughs a bit before replying "no Lydia, it's not poisoned, why would I ever do that!" He smiles warmly and as I watch Lloyd eat it I take a bite "mmm uncle this is really good" I compliment as I begin to eat more "I'm glad you like it, I don't often cook" he smiles "well you should this tastes great!" I say as I watch Lloyd shove his last bit of bacon down his throat "yeah this is really good uncle!"

"Mm what is that smell" Cole asks walking in and stretching "is that bacon, ohh I love bacon!!" He says as he advances towards a plate of food but Wu slaps his hand away before he can take some "none for you!" Wu declares "this is my plate, you all get what you cook" he says as he turns away and begins eating, all the ninjas groan "seriously sensei but they get some" the red ninja says angrily "yes kai, seriously, now go cook yourself some food" 𝘰𝘩𝘩 𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘬𝘢𝘪.

The ninjas all walk away sadly looking for some food to eat or cook and as they do uncle turns to us "I was wondering if the two of you could help me with
something?" He asks quietly "yes what is it?" Me and Lloyd say together and uncle whispers his plan to us, me and Lloyd look at each other with a grin and eagerly agree.
