(Lydia POV)
"EARTH!" Cole yells as he hits the ground with his scythe.

The ninja, minus Kai, are training on the deck as me and Nya watch from higher up.

As his scythe crashes into the ground the dummy/robot he was training with fell to the ground.

"LIGHTING!" Jay does spinjitzu towards the robot thing before hitting it with his nunchucks causing it to fly backwards.

"ICE!" Zane takes his turn to shout out his element before doing a backflip, chucking his shurikens through his legs. They hit the bottom of the robot, ice spreads out from the shurikens freezing the robot in its place.

Nya shines the spotlight on the ninja so we can see them. "Woohoo!!" I cheer as I clap my hands happily.

"Nice training, your powers are getting stronger" Nya smiles, moving the spotlight around a bit "but where's Kai?" She asks as she tries to spot him.

"Probably crying because he hasn't unlocked his true potential" I snort, which gets a chuckle out of Cole and Jay.

"I believe he is in his room" Zane answers as he pulls his hood down.

"Ugh I can't believe he skipped training" Jay complains as he also takes his hood off.

"Let's go find him, he shouldn't be missing out on this incase the serpentine attack" Nya says as she turns around and begins walking inside.

The boys and I follow behind her, Cole taking his hood off in the process. As we get close to his room we hear grunting, like he was training.

"No way is he training alone?" Jay asks but Cole elbows him. "Shhh I wanna see this" he shushes putting a finger to his lips.

We all creep up to Kai's room, I'm trying my hardest to keep my giggles quiet as we reach his door. We all peer inside through the window to see him wearing a green ninja costume. 𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘫𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯?

"FIIIYAAAAA!!" Kai punches the air and I have to literally clamp my hands over my mouth to stop myself laughing too loud.

"unlock fire, uh fire go? shoot flames!" He says, frantically trying to unlock his true potential, I assume.

"Oh, come on! Everyone else can do it, so can you" he says, clearly frustrated.

"BRING HEAT!!!" he shouts, flexing his muscles in the process before he backflips into one handed pushups. To be honest it's pretty impressive, but also the funniest thing I have EVER seen.

He jumps up again, facing the mirror as
Cole bursts out laughing, quickly followed by me and everyone else.

"Very nice, perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork' it might work" Cole teases.

"How long have you all been watching" Kai asks as he takes the hood off.

"Long enough" I laugh as I walk inside the room, Kai glares at me in embarrassment.

"The green ninja suit!" Jay points out. "That's awesome!"

"Well I was looking for some kind of clue from sensei, and then I found this" he explains, looking down at the floor slightly.

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the green ninja and only he should wear the green ninja outfit" Zane lectures "so sensei would most likely be very-"

"I know, I know, but I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my true potential it's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't" kai sighs "besides, sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back-" kai is interrupted as we all hear a door swing open.
