4: Never trust a snake

Okay also I'm changing Lily's name to Lydia as I just like it more idk Lily just didn't match w the theme I was going for? Idk how to explain it😭😭but yeah that's her name now. Enjoy!! ❤❤

(Lydia POV)
Ever since the stupid ninja nearly stole our staff yesterday we decided that we would get revenge on the Hypnobrai and then teach those ninja who's boss.

Me and Lloyd were leading the snakes up the snowy mountain to where the Hypnobrai tomb was. I was hugging myself to keep warm 𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘶𝘱 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.

Eventually, after what feels like forever we see the Hypnobrai's army over the horizon. Scales puts his staff in the air and they all stop.

"Hypnobrai. Now to teach them a lesson for betraying Lloyd and Lydia garmadon" Lloyd throws his hands in the air at that last part, not too sure why. He turns to the general "uhh do your thing Fangpyre" Lloyd says to him "yeah we let you out of your hole for a reason" I add "ATTACK" The snake screams which kind of startled me but I composed myself.

The snakes cheered as we advanced towards the Hypnobrai and the Hypnobrai did the same. We stopped just as we got close and the general jumped out the car and walked towards scales, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 my thought trails off as I pay attention to, the general and scales.

"Scales my old chum" the general greats happily 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵? "𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝐼'𝑑 𝑏𝑒 𝑓𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑢, hm moved up in the world have we?" They laugh "if it isn't the Fangpyre" scales exclaims "of all the cold blooded to creep up on us, I'm glad that it is a friend" and that's where I kind of stopped listening, my mouth was practically on the floor I was so shocked 𝘈𝘙𝘌 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘒𝘐𝘋𝘋𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘔𝘌??? I turn to Lloyd with my 'wtf' face and he looks at me the same.

"Wait, i- we thought you were enemies. Not friends" Lloyd asks, extremely confused and same cus what the hell is happening "we were at war. 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚, well I don't see why we can't be comrades" says the general "had you released the Constrictai, the Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai, then we would've had a tussle" scales seems to tease at us "a tussle? A TUSSLE?!" Lloyd exploades "BUT I'M LLOYD GARMADON, BRINGER OF EVIL!" he screams at them.

I just stand there clenching my fists shaking with anger, I'm not one to lash out with words and I try to keep my anger down until I'm alone (or with just Lloyd) I don't really tend to shout or be rude to people in the moment, to he honest I'm not very good at expressing my emotions in general, it makes me feel vulnerable in a way, it's hard to explain, but there are some exceptions and normally this would be one but I don't think shouting at 2 armies of snakes would do any good.

"What should we do with them?" I hear scales ask the general "𝐼 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚, into one of us?" The general asks, and I'm gunna be honest, I don't really want to be turned into a snake so I was pretty relieved when scales said we were too useless, I mean don't get me wrong that still pissed me off but at least I wasn't gonna turn into a snake.

Lloyd grabs my hand and gestures for us to run away whilst they're distracted, and yknow for someone as dumb as him that's actually a really good idea.

As we run I hear their laughs fade away in the distance but we get surrounded by other snakes so I hop onto one of the vehicles and pull Lloyd up after me but the stupid thing flinged us off 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
