"Why would Dumbledore forbade it?" Harry asked unable to hide his curiousity. Aurora just shrugged her shoulders. She honestly didn't know herself. Harry fell silent for a moment before looking at Aurora and asking a question she was expecting, " Can you tell me about my mum?" Aurora nodded and thought for a moment. " Lily was beautiful as I am sure you have already been told. She got her luscious auburn locks from our mother while Petunia and I got our dark hair from our father. Her hair was almost always long. She never cut it short. You and I both share her eyes which she inherited from our mother. Your grandmother, Susana, was very patient, creative, and elegant. Petunia took after her. Your granfather, Gregory, was more laidback, a pranskster. I took after him. Lily was the perfect balance of the two. She would occasionally help me pull pranks, that is if your father wasn't involved. She was the best person to go to for advice. She always knew what to say. She always knew how to make things better..." Aurora trailed off looking at the ground sadly realizing just how much she missed her sister. Harry was smiling sadly thinking about Lily. "Thank you for telling me about her," he spoke finally. She nodded, "Anytime, if there is anything else I can do for you don't hesitate to ask." He looked up at her as if coming up with an idea, "Actually...... Do you think you could sign my Hogsmead permission form? Uncle Vernon refused....." Aurora sighed. Dumbledore had warned her he might ask this and had already said no. "I would Harry, but Dumbledore said no...." Harry looked down sad, but he knew she had no control of the matter. Harry's stomach rumbled and he blushed looking down. "Somebody's hungry!" Aurora chuckled, "Come on we will find you something to eat." Harry nodded and trailed after his aunt into the cozy little kitchen. The first thing he noticed were the paintings which seemed to be in every room of the house. "Do you like them?" Aurora asked noticing the boy's interest in her works," Grilled Cheese?"Harry nodded fascinated by the realistic nature of the paintings some of them looked like pictures. She smiled and got to work on their meal. "Did you paint them?" he asked unable to think of another place the paintings could have come from. Aurora nodded, "One of the few hobbies my mother and I had in common. I will show you my painting room after we eat. It has most everything I have ever done." Harry smiled and gratefully took the plate she handed him, "I would love to!"
