Check-ins

Aurora woke up cheerfully and got ready in ~  www.polyvore.com/aurora/set?id=15... . As much as last night's meeting had upset her, she really was excited to be back at Hogwarts. She made her way down to the Great Hall thinking over her day ahead. If everything went acorrding to plan she should meet with every first year with the last inital of A+B possibly C. She was looking at a tight schedule. She held in her arms a stack of papers to pass out to her coworkers. She did just that as she entered the Great Hall. "Good morning Harry I trust you slept well?" Aurora asked checking in on the boy who held a special place in his heart. Harry wasn't expecting this and nearly chocked on his milk," I slept fine!" He replied after catching his breath. Aurora smiled,"Glad to hear that.. Well I wish I could stay and chat, but I really must be off so I can eat before I begin the check-ins." Her voice was rushed and she gave one last smile before scurrying off to the teacher's table. Aurora practically inhaled her food before rushing back to her room. She taped next to the door a sign in sheet for every student and a note that read, " Hello there! My name is Aurora and I can't wait to meet you or check-in with you once again! However my schedule is very full and I maybe busy at the moment! If you have an emergency you may knock, but if it can wait I will schedule a time to meet with you. If you are here for your check-in please stand quietly until I come to get you!  ~Aurora" It was the same note she had pinned up every year yet not many people seemed to read it. She sighed. Maybe this year would be different. Aurora picked her clipboard up from her table and looked down at the paper. First up, Natalia Alderman. According to her chart she was a muggleborn who was sorted into Ravenclaw. She didn't have a picture yet as those weren't taken until her first meeting with Aurora, which was today. She looked down at her watch that gave a faint beep. It was 8 which meant Natalia should have arrived. Aurora quickly made her way to the door and opened it to find the blonde haired girl from the boat. "Hello again I am Aurora! You're Natalia right?" She spoke giving her a welcoming smile. She stood back and allowed the girl to pass by her into the room. "I go by Nat!" the girl replied cheerfully. Aurora smiled down at her. She loved first years. She quickly made her way through the usual. "Hope you enjoy Hogwarts!" "Why I am here." "I can help with any problems school related or not." "You don't have to come back." When she finished her speech Aurora stood and took a picture of the girl before going out to greet the next child.
