Aurora woke up with the sun as she always did. She had really enjoyed having Harry with her, and she was sad that today was the last day of their summer. She had been planning for awhile now, and she hoped that she didn't break down in front of Harry. She was going to take him to see his old house, and to visit Lily and James's graves. Harry, of course, still didn't know this. She dressed quickly in ~www.polyvore.com/visiting_lils/se... . She knew heels probably weren't the best to wear, but her sister had worn them everywhere she went. She went downstairs and sat the daisies down on the table. Daises had been her sister's favorite flower. "Hello Harry," She greeted surprised to see the boy sitting at the table. She usually woke up before him. "Good morning Aurora! What do we get to do today?" Harry was obviously very excited for the days events. "Come on let's go for a walk," Aurora spoke. Harry had yet to see much of the place where his aunt lived as they had apparated everywhere they went, and he was very curious to see her neighborhood. He followed along after her down the sidewalk. The children's laughter that could be heard only moments before hushed as the kids knew who the two were. They knew where they were going. Harry found the silence a bit unsettling. He certainly enjoyed the laughter much more. His eyes were like those of a young child, darting every which way to take in the sights. He was startled when Aurora came to a stop in front of an old beaten down and frankly destroyed cottage. Harry felt a since of knowing. He was sure he had been to this place before. But When? Aurora nuged him slightly, urging him to walk towards his old home. Harry noticed an old wooden sign that read "On this spot, on the night of 31 October 1981, Lily and James Potter lost their lives. Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard ever to have survived the Killing Curse. This house, invisible to Muggles, has been left in its ruined state as a monument to the Potters and as a reminder of the violence that tore apart their family."Harry was silent as his mind worlled in all sorts of directions. "Most people don't go inside, but I am sure nobody would mind if I gave you a tour," Aurora spoke just barely audible. Harry just nodded knowing he was incapable of forming words. He followed his aunt as she lead him through a iron fence and to the front door. The door squeaked a bit as she pushed it open and led the pair into the front entry. Harry was immediatly struck with a flashback of his father's body lying a few feet in front of him. His scar stung like hot fire and Aurora noticed. "Are you ok Harry?" she asked her voice in a very motherly tone. Harry once again nodded and stood so they could venture further into the house. Both were silent as they moved through the living room and kitchen. Aurora was mentally preparing herself to go into Harry's old room. Afterall it was her who had found her sister's cold body laying on the floor next to the oddly quiet infant. She knew Harry needed it though so she led him into his old bedroom. Harry silently walked forward and gently ran his hand over the wood of the crib while Aurora stood frozen at the door. She was reliving the vision of her sister who was always so full of life and so happy lying dead on the floor in front of her. Tears began to gently fall down her face though she made no move to wipe them away. Harry immediatly went to comfort her pulling the woman into a tight hug. If only Harry had realized how much she needed that hug. Aurora hugged the boy tightly to her before pulling away gently and reaching up to wipe away her tears. The pair stayed in the room for a moment more before Harry led the way back outside of the home signaling he was finished with his visit.
