Aurora awoke early and was one of the first ones to enter the Great Hall. Moony wasn't there, but last night was a fullmoon so she didn't expect him to be. Hagrid and Minnie were the only other teachers who were awake and they sat at the table eating quietly. Few students were awake only two or three at each table. She had had multiple nightmares the night before and to be honest she wasn't feeling the best. She was planning on doing nothing except for one meeting with the golden trio. They had requested it the day before, and she was obligated to schedule it. Since she had nothing going on today it was. Aurora ate her breakfast quickly and retreated to her room. Before she knew it the trio were knocking at her door. 'Did I miss lunch?' She questioned to herself as she headed for the door. The trio were smiling at her as she stepped aside to allow their entry. "You missed lunch. I hope you like Ham." Hermione handed her a sandwich. "Thank you!" Aurora was genuinely touched by the gesture. "So to what do I owe the pleasure?" Aurora spoke sitting across from the three. "I am sure you have heard about Buckbeak?" Hermione paused and Aurora nodded. " Well he has a trial and we need to come up with a defense for Hagrid." Aurora's grin faded slightly," That is going to be difficult." "We know, but we have got to try." This time Harry spoke up. Aurora sighed and nodded. "Ok I will look into it. For now you need to get to class." The three nodded and bid her goodbye. She headed to the library to do some research wondering. What had she gotten herself into?
