chapter 23

Y/ns POV

On the way to Nandos finally, sitting in this car with Nick, it's peaceful.

I look out the window and look at the town, it's weird normally I'm out with Charlie going to Nandos as a...group it's really weird to see us grow up getting our own relationships, I miss having our friend group but that's the point of growing up I guess.

I look at Nick his arm stretched out holding the steering wheel, his concentrated look makes my body flutter, he's handsome, I take his hand that is resting on the compartment center and intertwine my hand with his, he smiles with a light chuckle. Turning his eyes towards me and back to the road.

"Someone's being clingyyyy" Nick says jokingky, I chuckle.

"I suppose I am but I thought you liked my touch?" I sarcastically reply.

He laughs, and pulls in the parking lot, he's puts the car into park and smiles at me.

"You know...there's something I wanna talk about see what you think about it?" He says looking at me I can hear the seriousness in his tone.

"Well I suppose I'll give you my answer when you spit out your question," I smile looking at my hand as it scrapes against my thigh.

"So y/n Ive been thinking we've been dating for a while now and uhm well I'm starting to get the feeling I'm ready to start the next level of our relationship if you understand what I'm putting down..."

"I'm saying I wanna have sex with you," he spits out in a breath.

I feel my heart racing I don't have much of an answer I wanna say yes I wanna say no I honestly don't know I've never been asked this question and let alone by the person I think I wanna spend the rest of my life with.

I push out a breath with a sigh and take a gulp of air, "I want to...but I don't know when it would depend on the situation for me..." I spit out.

Nick smiles and kisses my cheek.

"I'll never rush a yes on any situation just know I'm ready when you are" he says, he let's go of my hand and gets out of the car to open my door.

We finally get inside, Nick actually made a reservation so we got seated pretty quickly, we chatted a lot we honestly got even closer than we already were which is amazing because I wanna be as close to him as I can. We receive our meals and it's splendid, I ordered my safe choice (whatever you prefer).

We hurried out of Nandos and straight to the cinema. It was overall a good movie, his mom texted us saying her and Nick's brother just went out of town for the week supposedly Nick's older brother is some college pro rugby player so he had a game to attend too.

A house..alone with just me and Nick...
Well I mean that doesn't sound so bad..

The movie raps up and we finally get back into Nick's car, we sit there in silence for a moment just staring ahead blankly.

"So tonight what's gonna happen?"
Nick says breaking the silence.
