chapter 21

Y/ns POV

"So what's going on with you and your brother" I ask.

Nick looks at me a bit concerned "I just envy him so much he is an absolute prick, he's like Harry but maybe even worse?"

I sigh and take Nicks hand "Well than let's continue to avoid him and watch something how about one of the marvel movies you've been begging me to watch" I say grinning at him I do love Nick and I do want Nick to be in a good mood.

He smiles and plops down into his bed taking his remote in hand and turning on (whatever marvel movie you prefer) I plop down beside him and lay back against the bed board he puts his arm around my shoulder I rest my head against him shoulder.

"Y/n?" He says.

"Yes?" I say looking at him

"I'm so happy we're together and I really hope soon we can tell everyone we know so that everyone knows your my girl" he says smiling at me.

"I think that would be lovely idea Nick just me and you against the whole world" I reply.

Time skip to school starting again
Nicks POV

This summer was a blast I got to take y/n on a family trip and she got to meet a lot of my family members they all seemed to love her loads, we went on a couple of dates and even a double date with Charlie and Damon, it was amazing, I'm really hoping this is the year we can come out and tell everyone..

I race over to my mirror and make sure everything is in order I hear a knock at the door.

"Come in!!" I shout so that whoever can hear me.

Y/n appears from behind the door, she runs over to me as I pick her up spinning her around. I place her back on her feet and she keeps her arms around my neck.

"I'm so excited to be going back we finally get to see everyone after not having loads of time this summer!" She squeals.

I love how loving and passionate she is about her friends I know they truly mean a lot to her and she means so much to them, I'm happy to have met all of them.

"Well if we don't head out now we might be late soo let's go!" I say racing down the stairs as she follows along we run out the front door and walk to school, we bump into to Charlie and he joins us we all talk about how we're sad that I'm about to graduate and so is Damon that'll they'll be boyfriend less. It's hilarious I know they aren't joking but it's very cute to see her already missing me and I'm still here. We arrive to the front of the school and Charlie runs into a huge hug with Damon.

I feel y/ns hands brush against mine.

"Let's try and go public soon" she says intertwining her fingers with mine, I feel my heart skip a beat as I walk into the school with her by my side.

Y/ns POV
Time skip after school

I walk into the girls changing room getting ready for rugby again I'm so happy to be starting school again it gives me more time with friends and something to do all day.

I finish tying my shoes and run outside to start stretching I see Damon and Charlie laughing and running together, they are so adorable I'm so happy Charlie finally found someone that honestly I think is so perfect for him.

I feel someone tap on my shoulder to see Nick, I smile.

"Hey baby ready to start our laps" he says brushing his hand down my arm I get little tingles from feeling his hands brush against me.

"Yes, I can't wait to beat your slow ass again!" I prod at him shoving my elbow at him jokingly, we run to the beginning of the field and run some laps around it talking about how our days went, we haven't even seen each other since form so it's nice to finally catch up with him.

Supposedly his new maths teacher has already assigned coursework that's due by the end of this week so we're planning on going home after practice so I can help him finish it all.

Coach has us run a couple of plays I think all were amazing I can see that the team is getting way better at working together, I think this season will be a good one if not the best one.

It's weird I never thought I'd be hear right now at this time last year let alone did I think Nicholas Nelson would be my boyfriend and we'd be basically living together.

Still haven't heard from my mom or dad it hurts but I just don't think I need to text first..she crossed the line I'm just waiting to see if they could care but honestly what was I expecting her to finally admit she's a bad parent and take care of me.

Practice finally finishes up and me and Nick are in cone dutie we've gotten so many more players since last term we had to split the field in half it's a good thing but it's also very annoying to have to watch for two balls flying at you.

"You did so good today Nick, honestly I think we're gonna have a good shot this season" I say smiling picking up my last cone I hear him laugh.

"Yes, I'm honestly proud to say we might have some wins this season we're gonna do great!" Nick says picking up his last cone.

We jokingly shove each other around and back and forth, I wish time would stay like this forever.

It never does.
