"Cool..." Jake closed his eyes again. Johnnie smiled warmly at the sight. He shifted closer and laid his head onto Jake's chest.
But blushed when he felt Jake move his arm up and place his hand onto Johnnie's lower back. He sleepily mumbled, "We can cuddle for sure.."
Johnnie felt his heart quicken as he felt lovesick. He was listening to Jake's heart beat against his ears. It was lulling him to sleep.
"I just thought it would be okay–" Johnnie nervously replied. Jake opened his eyes, "hey, I didn't say it wasn't. It's fine. Really." He smiled in reassurance.
Johnnie felt his cheeks warm up. "Thank you, I just.. felt like we should because.. I don't know.."
Jake sleepily laughed, "because it felt right?"
Johnnie nodded, "yeah, because it felt right."
There was a silence and Johnnie fell asleep to the sound of Jake's breathing and heartbeat against his ear.
Johnnie felt comfortable and safe in Jake's arms. He was happy and content as he sleeps and dreams happy things.
Jake leaned his head down and kissed Johnnie's head. "I think I'm falling for you," he mumbled. "I know you're asleep and you can't hear me, but... Yeah."
Johnnie is still fast asleep, not even knowing that Jake has said these words. Jake laughed sleepily and softly.
He laid his head onto the pillows and closes his eyes. Holding Johnnie in a firm yet affectionate hold as he stared up at the ceiling.
He sighed heavily as he bit on his lip. Chewing the skin of it for a moment before he distracted himself by playing with Johnnie's hair.
Feeling the dark midnight black locks between his finger tips, – it felt right. This entire cuddling experience felt.... Right.
Like this was how it was meant to be. Jake was in love with Johnnie Guilbert. No doubt about it. But he was to nervous to say anything.
He pecked Johnnie's head again and whispered, "Goodnight Johnnie."
He closed his eyes and cuddled Johnnie as he fell asleep.
"Sweet dreams."
