Jake sighed as the Uber car pulled up. "C'mon let's go home. We can talk more about it there."
Johnnie wiped his eyes and sniffled. Nodding his head. the two enter inside the Uber.
The drive was quiet. Just occasionally Johnnie sniffles as Jake is staring out the window with a cold and monotoned expression.
Once they arrived at their shared home
– Jake paid Uber and the two went inside of the house.
"Can we talk now?" Johnnie asked as watches Jake sit on the couch. Johnnie shuts the door once he enters the house.
"Fine," Jake mumbled as he looked down at his hands. Johnnie takes a seat and laid his head onto Jake's shoulder again.
Jake leaned his head down and laid it on top of Johnnie's. "I just didn't want you to worry about me anymore so I was trying to go on this journey alone. But I don't know why but I need you by my side throughout everything. Because you mean so much to me, Johnnie. I'm just scared about the test and I'm nervous that it's gonna be wrong or – that I'm not – I don't know.. I'm just worried, that's all."
Johnnie reached over and grabbed his crush's hand. "It's okay Jake. It can be scary especially since it is a big chance. Especially in your whole outlook on life. And it's gonna be alright. I'm here for you. I'm here for you because I choose to be here for you. I'm not forcing myself to be here, I genuinely care about you Jake. Alot more than you think. It's so much care, especially in my heart for you."
His emo makeup blue eyes look up at Jake. Jake looked down at Johnnie with his brown eyes. "I don't get it.."
Johnnie giggled softly. "You're dense, huh?" He asked softly as he lifted his head. Jake blinked, "what?"
"Maybe I need a better approach for you to understand. Let me show you how much I care about you." Johnnie leaned in and softly kissed Jake's lips.
Jake was frozen in place for a moment. Before he closed his eyes and returned the kiss. Both of the male's breaths scented of alcohol but they didn't care.
They just shared the sweetest and passionate kiss. They pulled ask me locked eyes.
Jake asked softly, "what was that for?"
Johnnie smiled,
"I love you, Dummy."
