'Hehehe heeuuughh hehehehe!'

That was the sound of the Joker's laugh, briefly turned groan as Harley Quinn pressed an antiseptic wipe to a gash on his forearm. Afterwards, she wrapped it in a gauze. The library first aid kit had been in the desk on the 1st floor and the rogues had made good use of it after their confrontation with the justice league. There were two bloated clinical waste bags fille with bloodstained bandages and all that remained in the kit was a foil blanket and roll of tape.

Ivy and Edward were in deep conversation. Although the group didn't necessarily assign leaders, they had taken on the roles in the absence of Scarecrow. Edward's green suit was matted and dusty from building debris. On his forehead, a cut produced a bright contrasting red. He had refused to cover it with a band-aid despite Harley's protests, including her trying to chase him with a band-aid on her finger ready to slap on his forehead.

"I had to convince them a good few of them it was happening. They aren't too happy about Scarecrow gassing the city. He hadn't told them all. Some of them were sick and loopy from it. I showed them the camera footage of you all fighting. Some seemed interested, others seem a lost cause." His shoulders raised in a lazy shrug.

"You did well." Ivy pushed back Edward's hair and wiped away the blood on his forehead. He winced briefly but something cool and soothing seemed to be placed over the cut. "I am sure some are on their way."

The doors were heard opening into the library.

"Hmm, it appears that some have arrived."

Ivy could smell him before she saw him, "Bane, darling, it's been a while." She turned on her heel and tilted her head up to face him.

For a few years, Bane and Ivy had been close, working together for the same causes. Bane had truly come into his own since then. No doubt he'd be jealous to hear about the fight with Superman and Wonder woman.

"Killer Croc and Victor Zsasz!" Joker hollered, "Hello boys, it's been a while."

"I'm here to play with justice league flesh, not be your errand boy." Zsasz warned. He was playing with a knife, spinning, and weaving it in and around his fingers. "And though I'm thankful to the Scarecrow's daytime counterpart getting me out of Arkham. I have some skin to pick with him about the massive orange drug cloud over the city." The man extended his arm and caressed the many scars he had adorned upon it.

"And I'm here to taste the justice league flesh." Killer Croc added. He stood tallest in the room. Zsasz was awfully small comparatively as he two stood together.

"Very good, Croc. And I hope you do not mean to say you wish to kill Scarecrow, Zsasz. There will be none of that." Riddler spoke before an argument could begin. "I have reason to believe that the Superman and Wonder Woman have met with the Batman. I imagine they will come looking for us all again soon. For now, they are trying to learn our weaknesses. I'm sure their priority is finding Scarecrow."

Killer Croc growled.

"Indeed," Edward continued. "I am certain Batman has a collection of our known strengths, weaknesses, aliases and so on. He loves his technology, therefore his technology is his weakness. We would do best to behave erratically as possible as we try to get the upper hand."

"We should swap identities." Harley suggested.

"What?" Edward raised an eyebrow to her, entertaining the idea.

Harley squealed in delight when she realised Edward was curious.

"I can be the Riddler and go to your riddle rooms. Croc can hang around Ivy's plants. Ivy can go to the Joker's funhouses. Joker can go to the sewers." She grinned at everyone. It had been a while since she played dress up and it would make her day.

"They would be caught off guard and clueless of who they are up against." Ivy marvelled. "I think we shouldn't all split up." She looked to Bane. "Care to relive the old days, Bane dear?"

"Bane!" He nodded.

Harley jumped up, "Yay!" She sauntered over to Edward. "Now gimme your clothes."

"We don't have to actually become each other, Harley. Just enough to confuse the Justice League."

Harley looked at him with a sad expression and did not move.

Ivy sighed, "Give her your blazer, Eddie. Confuse Batman's surveillance a bit and keep Harley happy."

Edward huffed. "Fine, but you must return it in perfect quality."

Ivy scoffed, "Eddy, dear. It's filthy from the rubble."

Harley put it on and spun in a circle. "I bet I look super cute right now."

"Yes, you do." Ivy smiled. Edward pouted at themboth. He wished Johnny was with them all and hoped he was okay.
