Chapter 2

Arika's Pov:

Standing in front of my doorway, fidgeting with my fingers, the thoughts of, how will I face my parents, how will I answer them why I left them, why I wasn't coming here, what I did these thoughts were making me nervous and the next moment door opened dad standing there all shocked tears glistening in eyes trying to comprehend the situation the realisation his daughter is standing in front of him nearly after four years.

I walked towards him and bent down to touch his feet and in instant he embraced me in his arms.
"My daughter is back, I missed you beti, don't go again" he said and listening him I broke in his arms.

I have yearned a lot for this hug, but my one mistake and their misunderstanding compelled me to separate myself from my family.
"I missed you too, dad" the first thing I said after stepping in India. I was all quite while driving to home.

"Beta" I heard my mom's voice, I separated myself from dad and went towards her she was staring me intently, after some seconds she touched my cheeks with her soft hands and slowly patted my head af pulled me for a hug. "Don't leave us again, meri bacchi" she said while sobbing. "Okay, okay now let her go, aaru you go to your room and come down after freshening up" Ekansh said "Yes, go beta" mom said and I went giving a warm small smile to them.

As I turned the doorknob the door opened revealing the room where I spend my whole childhood, where I sobbed, cried the room where I got the most haunted nightmares. Everything is same as I left, the photoframes are hanging in the same place as it was four years ago, the colour of the room my stuff toys everything is where I left and the keychain.
The same keychain hanging next to my study table where I hanged the last time to get away from her memories. I walked towards it and touched with my trembling hands arvi written on it looking at the keychain tears welled up in my eyes.
I shrugged off the thoughts moving to my luggage I took out a grey tshirt and a black pant departing to the bathroom.

After taking a relaxing hot shower changing into comfortable clothes. I emerged from my room to my dinning haul and the view I saw made me stunned in my place.

Raghuvanshi mansion

Author's Pov:

Sweat dripping from all over his face and body it seems like the man is taking out all his frustration on punching bag.
"Bhai raat ko kon gym karta hai" a boy in his 20's said coming towards him "Mai karta hu" Avyaan replied.

(Who does gym at night)
(I do)

"What happen Bhai is everything, okay" asked Aryan concern evident in his voice. "Yeah, everything is good, you go and sleep" said Avyaan by dragging aryan to the door. "Fine, good night, bye" aryan said and was about to go when he remembered something about the reason he came here "bhai, mummy papa wants to talk to you something important tomorrow, so be ready bye byee" he said firstly in a serious tone but last line he smirked while departing the room.

Avyan thought for few minutes about what their parents wants to talk about then he emerged from the gym to his bedroom.

Author's Pov:

"No, no, no, I am leaving right now" Arika was roaming in her room whole keeping all her stuff in her bag. "But we did it for you" Arriya said with a pout. "For me??!!" Arika replied in little loud voice.

"Dad ki health ke baare jhut bolke India bulana ye mera fayda hai. Seriously, do you people even know how much I was worried for him". Arika was saying with shaky voice.

(You people lied to me about dad's health and now you are saying I am the one who is benefited by coming to India)

When arika emerged from her room after freshening up. She was shocked to see the view her father was running after Arriya fir something, and the realisation hit her like a hard stone that they all were lying about her father's health.

"Beta don't do this, please stay" her mother said
"Didi, ruk jao warna aapko bathroom mei lock kar dungi mei" Arriya said with joking tone and received a death glare from Arika.
